  1. I've just kitted up the little bike as I'm off for some trail riding tomorrow. I am heading towards Salisbury Plain but I'll be staying mainly to the north as the hippies will be out in force around Stonehenge for the summer solstice even though Boris has told them to stay at home ?

  2. Another cool thing about living at elevation, is driving through the clouds on your way down the hill. Had to work to day (gasp!) and the clouds looked cool on the way to Denver...

  3. I've done a few castles in the past.......but the only place to find those shots now would be somewhere on Facebutt! See that's where it's limitations show......it's great as one big chat room type of thing, but anything with more depth is just wasted. That's why the Forum environment is so much better to chronicle this stuff. It's laid out much better, you can give much more detail........and further down the line you can actually find it quite easily.

  11. I hate 1/2 of the crap I make - but if that;s what the customer wants then that's what I make. I'd really like to just make reclaimed wood dining tables - the most fun to make and makes the most money.

  15. Since we have no castles here, I really like the castle ride reports. Have been to a few in Scotland but still like to see the pics.

  17. Today it's a nice cool summer day here. Cool enough to walk the dog wearing jeans and not shorts, and cool enough that you need a something on top of a t-shirt at night, which is perfect. I'm doing a little work at home, going to pack my cases in the afternoon with mostly clothes but since one needs a nice shirt to go to dinner and I always end up with a lack of space, then at dinner it'll be a nice seabass with some nice white wine, and in the morning a few days of leisurely riding will start. I don't like topases on bikes, you get a lot of effect from crosswinds and it hinders you getting on and off the bike with any coolness, which is also important Also, I always go on trips with just the sidecases on narrow position, hate to have a very wide bike in the back looking like a bus. I used to tour Morocco for two weeks with my girlfriend using the same space for both of us, with plastic rain suits for both as well, she used to make that work perfectly but now I go for a few days by myself and end up with lack of space. Can't pack for shit.

  27. I had the original Versys 1000 and whilst it wasn’t the best looking bike I’ve ever owned it went like a rocket, was built like a tank and super comfy. Perfect road bike.
