  1. I've been continuing to follow the path of the former railway line that ran from Guadix (Granada) through Almeria, and ending up in Lorca (Murcia). I've done Caniles and Seron stations.......and today I went to find Baul. This one was quite interesting as it hasn't been restored.....it remains as it was when it closed in 1984. So it's very authentic. And just further on from the Station is the Baul Railway Bridge! It's a complex wrought iron structure that was assembled in 1907 to complete the line between Guadix and Baza. The last train to run across the bridge was on 31 December 1984.......and the line was then closed. Some great shots on the bridge itself.......had to walk as it's blocked off to vehicles! What a photo opportunity that would have been! My Ewan and Charley moment stolen from me!

  3. I have a mate who is totally useless with all things mechanical. A while ago he asked me if i thought he would be able to change the cam chain on his bike himself, i said you got no chance, he said why I've seen videos it doesn't look that difficult. My reply was because the week before when you topped up the 2 stroke oil on your brothers MTX125 you poured it in the coolant header tank and didn't know it was wrong until i pointed it out to you

  8. Could be worse, couple of years ago there was a guy on a car forum that drained his gearbox and topped up his engine with gear fluid. After a few miles the gearbox started acting funny ...!

  12. You'd get more than a bollocking Bob.....as it's classed as "vias verdes".......greenways. There's 2900 kms of them traversing Spain. I would expect a 4 figure fine and points taken off licence (it works the opposite way to the UK). Hikers, bicycle twats no problem. Anything motorised and shit hits the fan!
