Don't make much difference for me as I have a steam powered ISP that is slower than shit in the first place. Service is down every time the wind blows. But thanks for making it better for others!3 points

I've heard of similar plans for Portugal starting during January. I was going to comment on the ironic emphasis put on region and classes, but then I noticed you´re quoting catalan news Can take the Pete away from Wales, but can't take the insurgent minority out of Pete ?2 points

Great looking dirt road, exactly the kind I enjoying taking the GS on when I had 50% dirt worthy tires. I've told you before, shoot with the sun behind you and the bike, or just take the leg instead of Sandra Bullock! In this order: Sun - Pete´s camera - motorcycle-scenery2 points

I could submit a photo of me riding out of a subterranean tunnel engulfed in a fireball, while dodging missiles and buildings collapsing around me......with Sandra Bullock on the back......and Bob's Leg would still get more votes!2 points

Waking up took me a while, I planned on a long ride but ended up only left the house by 10, that doesn't give a lot of time before the lockdown at 13, so I just went to the Douro, and had a cup of coffee there. I don't spend many weekends here, but this is where a lot of bikers come for a short weekend morning ride, they meet up at the marina's cafe before riding back, it's only about 25 or 30km to Porto via a twisty road. This is a cool road they ride but on weekends it's just too much lazy traffic, too many bikes too. I chose to keep to a smaller cafe with almost nobody there instead of joining the mob, social distancing comes very natural to my reserved ways. On the other side of that river, right to the red cafe is where all the bikes are, maybe you can see them if you're able to zoom in. They were making themselves heard from this side as everyone that arrived seemed to have a stuck throttle Going back I avoided the busy road, but my plan was to explore a "Serra" that I had been curious about for some time, Serra da Boneca was my stop on the way back home. The dirt roads getting to the more scenic spots were all closed, I don't really know why, I expected the road to get a lot steeper so I walked the last 100 or 200 meters. Turns out the steeper bit was exactly where they put the gate, which isn't cool . It was quite windy up there, quite nippy too, but the views were nice. Got back home in time to buy some bread before the lockdown. Gave the bike a wipe before lunch, meant to wash it properly but I don't like washing it without being able to ride it warm and dry after, this bike hides water poodled inside like it's magic.2 points

Site's back......but some of you might have to wait longer if you've got crap ISP's! This has now gone from a 16GB/8CPU server in Michigan to a 32GB/32CPU server in London. I know the distance is a bit further for those of you in the US and Canada, but the increased speed displaying resources should more than make up for that. For those of us in the UK/EU the board will now be much quicker. The original plan was to eventually get it across onto the UK server, but I didn't want to do that initially because I honestly thought it wouldn't survive after the first lockdown finished in June. I was wrong on that so the time came to switch it before it got too big in terms of diskspace usage. As an indication, the site now uses 20GB of diskspace in only 7 months. So to leave it any longer would have taken hours to get it all across from the US. There we go......all done! You can now continue posting mindless shit with no interruptions!2 points

Maybe you just need to start parking it a little outside the tarmac to offset that sidestand lean angle2 points

I was going to go to Azambuja tomorrow, by car, but I just saw on tv that Oliveira got Pole Position for tomorrow's MotoGP race in Portugal. I might just stay here to see it, I'm tight with money so there is no MotoGP on my home2 points

Thanks Pedro! The big labourer here is the logging mill and everything around it, the tug boats, the trucks, etc... There is a lot of construction as the rich people move here and never stop building their big homes. Then all those businesses need smart ladies like me to do their accounting. ? We are also a stones throw away from Vancouver which is a large city for Canada and a major port. There are also a lot of old folks retired here as it is the warmest place in Canada and they employ people to do everything for them. The visor is good, must be the light. Thanks for watching my weirdness! ?1 point

I think you missed your natural vocation by not going into motorcycle journalism Fred! And look at all that shit on your bike! I'm sure you went out today with the sole intention of covering yourself and your bike with any disgusting filth you could find......just to freak me and @Tym out!1 point

I missed this when you launched it, cool stuff, you live in a really pretty area. That is such a different place to where I live that I always wonder what do people do for work in places like that where they seem to be so far away from everything economic. Your sun visor looks like it's cracked?1 point

I don't really know what these changes are all about as everything worked fine for me from the beginning, having said that: Is that why I have gotten bigger international phone charges over the last months? Good work, Pete, thank's for everything!1 point

I had a message from blunder road (thunder road) motorcycles to say the brake pads for the XR were in, so decided to take the dog via the little country roads to Bridgend to pick them up, when i get there they sure lived up to their nick name they ordered me rear pads instead of the fronts I'd asked for? so i bought them to keep in the spares box. That means another visit next week, ahh well it got me out on the bike and i stayed out for another couple of hours, it was wet and windy but the waterproofs kept me dry quite enjoyed it. only took a couple of photos twas a little wet you see The road to the bike shop is not the best or it is the best depending on how you look at it ? Heading up over the Bwlch mountain road And heading home1 point
