  3. Well the tent <aka poor man's garage> is set up and ready for moto TLC. We will start on my partner's bike and get the bearings replaced. If all goes well I need to get Bagheera in the tent and see if I can torque down the engine block as it is leaking oil. It's either loose or the seal was shit to start. It sure is fun ordering parts from Hitchcocks, even though the Royal Enfield parts and bikes are made in India they can still classify them as "vintage" made in the UK..... so no duty! Golden! ?

  5. Always wanted one, my dad wouldnt let me ride when i was a kid unless i used a full face. His problem cause he had to pay for the Bell Star i chose...lol So, all my helmets have been full face, dont really like them, tried the open face vero was using, been thinking about this new arai for when those fat SS checks start showing up in March. Open face have come a long way since the simple ones, the summers are just to damn hot for dark coloured full face freaking helmets. Since i have hyper thyroidism now heat kill's me quick.

  7. It would be under warranty and is very common. There are a few ideas. Many say that two bolts are too short, some say the seal is no good. I will just check everything. I always planned on doing the work on my bike, to go to the dealer requires a day trip with ferries and then I would be with out a bike for weeks. I hope to travel / live on this bike in the future so I want to know every inch of the thing. ??

  18. He used to go to Three Sisters and another at north pickering, both cart tracks, where the 510 was great but Caldwell and Oulton park needed the extra. Chances are the extra weight might have shown up more in the tight twisties and braking but we're all greedy at times. When the Supermoto's raced at Cadwell they cut the upper section off the track as they were all bouncing off the rev limiters.

  20. Nah, we went 4 months this past summer with no rain. And when it does rain, it's the Virga rain that doesn't even get your jacket wet. It's weird to ride in the rain and never get wet. The higher portions of Colorado can get some thunderstorms, but the are usually only 1-2 big clouds that move by pretty quickly. Sit down, take a break and watch it pass. Waiting on a traffic accident to be cleared before the road opens - in rain as hard as it gets in the desert. Jacket isn't even wet....
