The 2020 Dragon Rally was something to remember, 85mph winds, torrential rain, tents flying over hedges and then there was the ride back home where my mate's Africa Twin which weighs about 240kg with camping gear got blown clean over by the force of the wind. Not my video but if you move to 6.00mins onwards you can get some idea what it was like......4 points

I'm not in the last picture, because I am taking it, see how we are struggling for survival in the Arctic circle just outside East Grinstead, the outside toilets froze solid. I think we knocked the bloke on the right over the head and ate him on the last night. This is the only photo I have that lets me know what the registration of my CX500 was.4 points

There's two schools of thought, first is what the UK is doing and what most countries with political correctness sensitive people will do, which is to try and vaccine older people first since that's the demographic that dies the most if infected. Second school of thought states that the rate of vaccine success is a lot higher in younger people (this is a fact for most vaccines so far, regardless of covid), so those should be vaccinated earlier to stop as much as possible the spreading of the virus. No absolute right or wrong. The UK people would complain if they were last after every European country, and they complain that they're first, would they be happy with third? fourth? fifth? You can always point the finger at any policy as every policy as flaws, but at some point you have to just go ahead and advance. I would love if it had been Portugal to be first and would happily pay to be vaccinated today.3 points

I loved that. Also, I think I can type welsh names if I just hit my keyboard keys at random as long as there are "y"s in there: fhsyhf3 points

I don't think I'd like the Elephant at all, regardless of duvets or not! I'm just not made for that kind of outdoors cold. Maybe a hotel or cabin with a nice fireplace and some good goulash might make it endurable, but then I wouldn't like to park my bike in deep freezing mode.2 points

between 1€35 and 1€45 a litre for 95 octane here at the moment I think. I am very confused about fuel at the moment as for the first time I have a car that uses petrol rather than diesel but burns consistently less than the bike... all very strange!2 points

Absolutely, I think there's a fair bit of suspicion as in ' why are we getting it before any other country' but I'd be first in the queue if they offered it to me. That way I would know if it's safe for my wife and son.2 points

Back when i had little step like kids this was a family favorite, right before jacking a stop and stab for some holiday cheer. btw, my first Collie was named Sheep Doggy Dog true story the AKC had a fit when i named him that, made me change his name, racists2 points

I only eat ribs in a few parts of the USA as they usually suck outside of those regions. Tennessee and Texas are the best areas to get ribs..... at least I think so.1 point

I had a rack of ribs when i came home from work today at least that's what the wife said it was, Looks like she lied i'm going to get her and show her what a rack of ribs should look like, i feel cheated1 point

Oh man, fully agree that is a great ending to a day's ride! Except I would use the apple as dessert, I can't eat something sweet like that as main dish. Superb, though! We usually serve those kinds of ribs cooked less slow over live coal, with the bones separated from each other to be eaten by hand one by one. The "american style" is very well known and I'm not going to miss the chance when I'm there.1 point

No, there isn't, but it has nice character in the way it runs, feels like a quality engine even if it's not fast at all.1 point

I think your right Pedro but to be fair I don't think there's a lot of pep in that engine anyway1 point

I learned to ride and took my test on a 225cc version of that (I think it was 225, might have been 200), the big balloon tires make for an interesting handling on tarmac, and I think steal a lot of pep out of the engine.1 point

Spain records lowest number of weekend coronavirus cases since mid-August But still no change to the restrictions for us......so no idea when we'll be allowed out of the town boundaries!1 point

Drones are fun.....I wish we had some open space like that here to play in. Once we make it above the trees you can't see what is below on the trail anymore.... ?1 point

My first impressions are this is the finest helmet i have ever worn. Light, wind doesnt seem to exist and lets less noise in then my other Arai's. It seems to defy logic by being as warm in cold weather as my other full face lids and fogging isnt a big deal even without the stupid pinhead pinlock thing never installed. Being an open face i get to act like a human with other humans, people want to see faces, an open face, Is a happy face!1 point

$1.22 a litre here at the moment. We get absolutely raped on gas prices here due to taxes. It's criminal, we have the 3rd largest oil reserves in the world and yet pay outrageous prices for gas. Any other western country and people would be protesting with pitch forks and torches... but canucks are sheep we just mumble and take it.1 point

I don't know how to break this to you Yen.......but me and Windsor Davies are not the only ones with Welsh accents. There are a few others scattered round the place! The number of times when I was in England I'd get some dumb Hanoverian asking me if I knew somebody that he once knew......who happened to be Welsh! Like there's only about a dozen of us in the whole country and we all fucking know each other! I bet you now that the other Welsh boys have had the same!1 point
