I can't say I didn't have a good 2020. In the first half of the year, external markets closing or stopping meant my suppliers only had Portugal as a sales resource, so that made it easy for me to sell a lot easier than normal, and a lot more too. By July it all changed though, and it's been shit ever since, with a promise of carrying on like that at least until summertime. I have lightened some expenses and hope to carry on, I can adjust my personal earnings to the flow of things now, so just rolling with the punches. I also rode the bike a lot more than normal, did two big trips, top to bottom of Portugal on small roads, stopping for swimming pools and nice dinners (opinions vary). I got to know my bike better, and got to know my own small country a lot better than before, and appreciate it more than before. I am ending the year in a deep low, though, I'm feeling quite depressed. I'm quite sad and lacking energy to do anything. I could have taken the bike through southern Portugal as the weather hasn't been too bad, but quite simply didn't. Next 4 days will be of full lockdown so definitely no riding. Will stay in Sofia's until monday and take it from there. For next year, though, I see some motorcycle touring in Portugal at least. I see work being frustrating, and I see me and Sofia trying to start a guided tour company, very slowly at first. If that sells a couple of tours in 2021 it'll be a success as it's all so uncertain. I would also like to think that if the pandemic is half dealt with, and the situation in Spain and Morocco improves, I would like to go on a bigger trip. Painful as it will surely be going back to Tangier, I miss the place and the riding.5 points

You had two decent bike trips Pedro, that's two more than I had ? That's one thing that I really missed this year, we were going to ride the TET from France down to Italy and then do some of the trails around Bardonecchia. I have a different plan for 2021 but whether it happens or not is another thing entirely. Most of all though , me and my family are safe at the moment and for that I'm very grateful. lots of people have had a devestating 2020 ?4 points

So, here I think we are off to the start of a lovely friendship and then you say these things. ? My dear Cheeks, if this is all you know about women then I am happy to introduce you to a whole new style. ? Hi I don't do "ladies night", the sooner you understand these things the sooner we can move on to happier days. ??4 points

Feeling quite depressed in the morning, even with Sofia's and the puppies' best efforts to cheer me up. After lunch went for a end of year ride... Might look like an adventure, but this is right at the end of a short dirt road that led to a fort, turns out it was closed so I took this picture as I was changing the gopro's position. Also, this is just before it started to rain, and then later on really rain, all on video so I'll see how it turns out.3 points

What Tym said! @Grasshopper's Ride.......Tym might be unstable.....but he knows a Twat when he sees one! And Bruce is most definitely a Twat.......but in his defence, he's not a Twat without a camera! Will we see @Buckster tonight I wonder?3 points

And the Unstable One is now 62! How time flies......I can remember him being unstable on Cyko World when he was only in his early 40's! Let's hope he has a good day and can unwind with a nice drive-by at the Stop'n'Stab.......that always lightens his mood!3 points

I actually had a great year. ? I live in a small bubble in a small place and keep to myself, so I haven't really been out of sorts this year. Honestly, this year will always be remembered for the year motorcycles came back into my life. I regained some confidence, learned new skills, met cool new people, adventured into places I would never have gone before, found a happy place I had been missing and this is the part where I break into song......? lalalalalala ? I am sad so many people had a bummer year, but it's been a full time party time at my house. ? You are all invited! ? I hope everyone can find a bit of happiness next year. ?3 points

it's getting to me. Weather's shit : 4 deg c and 10/10th cloud cover. blustery wind and threatening rain or sleet. It was something of a struggle to work up the energy to get all the clobber on neccessary to go for a ride. I did manage to persuade myself. I wanted to check the tyre pressures as I was certain they were down a bit having sat unused for so long nad with the recent temperature changes since I last checked so first stop was the nearest air line at the main renault dealers and petrol station. Nope, they've removed the air line and put a notice up saying " renault quick service centre does not check tyre pressures" okaaaay... fuck you then, I only ever filled up here cos they had free air. A couple of km's furter out of twn is a Total station with petrol ( thank you) and free air. Tyres were effectively 200 and 300 g light front and rear. Should be 25 front and 29 rear... that's Kilos per square metre. felt much better after that. No plan but took some back roads, that petered out and became gravel roads which I think I've been on before and thought that it was a through road, picking up tarmac again further on, so I risked it, gingerly though as these tyres are not off road tyres and not ideal on wet mud. a couple of km further along I realised that if I drop it im going to fuck my knee and / or shoulder lifting it. Answer: Don't drop it then... found tarmac again after 5 km or so riding down another lane I thought I saw something incongruous... WTF ? that looks like a giant rubiks cube... I kid you not! down some unpaved road theres this... thing... which I can only imagine has been put there for the benefit of trail walkers as it's at the jucntion of a couple of blazed trails I thought only the US was into outsize roadsize furniture... there's this huge rubix cube, an enormous chair, some outsize oldfashioned bycicles and farm implements, a giant chess set and a perch for storks to nest on... under the chair is a picnic table with a box of board games and some holly on the table with a sign saying " help yourself" I played an opening move on the ches board, and left. back up the muddy lane It soon became obvious that @XTreme is a bad influence and I found myself here, doing the cleaning thing before riding home. No leaf blower to dry it with though! only 50 or so km's and I will admit to having the heated grips on.2 points

Racing will do that to you. so will deer, trees ,cars etc etc. I even got taken off my bike once by a falling tree branch.? what;s pretty sad about it is almost all of them have been from people running into me, over me or turning in front of me. Driving in Vancouver is truly frightening and getting worse every day. as far as Tym's gift of blowing up klr motors I still have a source i think although now pretty well any KTM has far surpassed Kawasaki's exploding KLR's2 points

You got to go for a short ride, so that is a plus. ? I am waiting on parts again, but I am watching the parts fly across the world. It's like Hitchcocks Motorcycles knew what happened and rushed the shipping for me. I just want to go for a ride and the weather is good too. OK, I'm sad to now. So much for helping cheer you up. ?1 point

sigh.... ? I see I have my work cut out for me. ? Bring your hairy number over here and have a seat. First off, you are mistaking awesome kick assness for prickles. I don't need cheap lipstick and a pushup bra to have fun. Loud humans that smell funny don't strike my fancy. I pee outside and get dirty, and not because I fell out of the pub piss drunk one night. ? We'll work together on this don't worry. ? P.S. You will know if you ever offend me, it's not really an easy thing to do. ?1 point

2003 was the year that car rear ended me at the stoplight. That one was nasty. I still have health issues from it. Although if you think about it from a different perspective, she hit me going 58kms an hour I am very lucky to not be either dead or paralyzed1 point
