So here I am thinking, what a sweetie, thanks Bob, hugs and all that..... THEN I see "HAIRY".....WHAT.....I'll have you know my ass is as smooth as a fresh rose petal....here I will show you. ?️ DAMN, still can't find my camera.....6 points

I get this sort of thing ALL THE TIME......OH NO LADY ON BIKE......danger! It is mostly from the Indian community I am around due to owing a Royal Enfield. All the time, out of the blue I will get... "oh ma'am be safe" "ma'am seriously take care" "be safety ma'am' I know they mean well and are very kind hearted, but like they would know if I feel into a ditch and died after a logging truck flattened me. But hey thanks for caring. I have no intentions of hurting myself....?5 points

I used to get something similar when I did my exploring stuff. Except for a few times I always went alone and got people banging on about how dangerous it was lurking about in abandoned buildings, mines, bunkers and hanging off sheer cliffs. Weird that those who knew me in real life didn't give a shit- probably because they were looking forward to the wake.5 points

Technically speaking....I find this forum to be: - bright & clean (not speaking of content, but layout and appearance) - nice open concept, easy to read - fun profile customization - well managed, seriously. Pete you are always there and aware of what's going on. You do a great job. - the back end (no not a bum) the SEO, the server maintenance and such.. is well managed - I like the option of easy emotional responses as well as commenting - the messaging system works great Ok I could go on, but no need. Awesome Forum! ? Top Notch @XTreme5 points

Like Rich I don’t find it cliquey and I haven’t spent much time on the other forum either, I like it on here because of the people that post they seem like a good bunch of lads, I must admit that my posts aren’t no where as intellectual as most others on here, I’m simply not that well versed as you all are yes I’m thick sue me, but I do find you guys entertaining in these sad dark days we have at the moment and I don’t believe there is another forum like it, well done Pete.?5 points

I get all sorts of shit from non biking friends. How can you ride that bike with one leg, how can you ride up the side of that mountain, what are you doing out riding your motorcycle in the snow. You have no idea what tomorrow might bring , so I'm doing this stuff while I can .4 points

Everybody's fairly old here except @Pedro @Grasshopper's Ride and @Richzx6r so there's not a big generation gap as such. And I think everybody here has had bikes all their lives......so it's no use asking any of us how to pass a CBT.4 points

If Ihave trolled anyone then I apologise, it wasn't intentional. To be honest I don't even understand what 'trolling' is , to me life is for laughing and taking the piss (in a friendly way) otherwise what's the point ?4 points

Now.... for the social part of the forum. It reminds me of the TV show Cheers. Some people are familiar and some are not. Friendly atmosphere and a good vibe for sure. I am getting to know some of you better and enjoying every minute of it, hairy bums and all. I love joking around with everyone. I feel like I can be myself and I like the fact that some of you have known each other for awhile, makes the running jokes even better. I could go on, but I'm sleepy. Good Night / Morning Everyone ?4 points

Now that's a Clickbait title if ever there was! I'm referring to a strange phenomenon that's been happening to me over the last year or two. No......not actually getting brutally murdered on a Rideout.......people worrying that I'm going to get brutally murdered on a Rideout. So why do they think this? Well it's a combination of the strange places I get to like Abandoned Villages, Railway Stations, Factories, Warehouses etc........and me being an OAP. I don't get that response on here, but I used to get it on another forum! In fact @Richzx6r was one of those who was always concerned for my safety! I get inundated with it on FB groups though! In fact one Romanian guy in the UK who's a FB friend is moving to Spain this year and he's told me that he's going to act as my bodyguard on these trips. And he's a huge guy and ex Romanian military! Got this image in my mind of him turning up with AK47's or something! So does anybody else get this sort of thing? And why do none of the people who've known me for years have this pathological fear of me getting brutally murdered on a Rideout? While everybody else does!3 points

Bad luck! It's doable (because I've done it). Just be prepared to have those carbs in and out more often than @XTreme's teeth.3 points

I tell you something......there'd be incoherent warnings by PM going out left, right, and centre on another forum now due to this outbreak of foul language, scabby bodies, and bouffant pubes! Fuck it.....I think I'll send one to myself just for the hell of it!3 points

From a new bod perspective it's clear that some of you have known each other for quite some time. That's no bad thing as it creates an atmosphere where conversations flow easily. I think however that it could be intimidating for some who haven't experienced a robust, bantery environment. My only criticism is the forum software - I'm really not getting on with it which puts me off.3 points

Why? It's one of the very few interesting posts you've ever made Clive.3 points

You haven't as far as I know Bob......and anyway, nothing wrong with a bit of trolling! @Buckster has made a career out of it after all.3 points

Thanks Keith! I just put the software here and everybody else does the rest. But my sort of direction has always been somewhat different to the other forums inasmuch as I'm not keen on this overly serious mentality where everybody wants to show how deadly serious they are about motorcycling. That's where the Rugged Individualism, Styling and Profiling, and Namby Pamby Motorcycling phrases come from......it's a ridiculous parody of all these twats who are up their own ass. But I post it elsewhere and people are so fucking thick the joke goes way over their head. It comes down to this! It's a bunch of guys (mainly old) and we love bikes......that's all it is!3 points

Not worried about you getting brutally murdered at all, it's more of a help the aged kinda thing, making sure that the doddery old gits like you are still alive and kicking before I make my bid to be included in the will should you go south ?2 points

Carrying a water bottle or just having a good drink before is cheap insurance. I do like the heat but if you're in it you have to be smart if the need comes to do any exertion. The heat is probably why all those brutal murderers moved away, it was very hard work.2 points

@XTreme's bike doesn't need a fender, it's evolved and is equipped with a much more advanced Active Puddle and Mud Avoidance System.2 points
