I got a present from a member here! It's a Welsh neck warmer as you can see......great quality too! Who sent it? Well the Customs Document looked pretty weird with this name on it! I'm not sure what I've done to deserve a present from @boboneleg.......but I'm very grateful! Many thanks Bob! It goes without saying my response wouldn't have been quite the same if he'd sent me an England one of course! It would have been more like.....3 points

Bearing With My Himalayan - Part 2 - Fork Removal The time has come to change the front steering bearings in Bagheera, my 2019 Royal Enfield Himalayan. Bagheera has 6000km on him and that might seem early for a bearing change, but I believe the conditions I ride in can wear things out on the bike a bit faster. It's a great opportunity to learn more about my bike and as usual things never go according to plan, so this has turned into a multi-part video. In this episode we remove the forks and the steering stem while sharing some casual garage chit-chat. ??3 points

I'm watching Michael Caine and Sean Connery in The Man Who Would Be King on the telly. They have just passed through the Khyber Pass with their camels disguised as Afghans. I'm thinking, that looks familiar so I googled locations for the film. I have ridden my bike through there. Todra Gorge, we popped out there when following a washed away track all day through the Atlas Mountains. My bike on the left and me with my back to the camera leaning on it slightly.2 points

I did have a bit of fun last week when a fellow church member took me & my dog up for an air-tour of the Grand Ronde Valley where I reside.... In his 64y/o Cesna 180 with a brand spankin' new Continental flat-6 motor w/ only 21hrs. on it....that old beast can really climb! It puts such a different perspective on everything from 7500ft.2 points

I am torn, the place where I have my home is near where 70% of Portugal's positives are, and the hospitals there are simply dreadful, but the house is nearer to countryside and I can spend weeks only talking to a couple of neighbors from a distance. Here, in my parents', I am in a theoretically better area but more densely populated when I leave the house to walk the dog. We've been ordered to keep in, but this time people don't seem to really be taking it to consideration, whenever I go out I see traffic going on as normal outside including on the weekend. For the first time, I am seriously concerned about our situation here and fearful for my parents' household. Everything is simpler when I'm on the bike and just moving around ?1 point

I meant new positives per 1000 inhabitants, not deaths. But from what our doctor experts are saying, our hospitals are about to start folding under the weight so it might not take long. Just saw on tv that a few hospitals are tending to people in ambulances on the street instead of bringing them inside the ER, they're simply better there, which isn't very good at all. They are using ambulances as an extension of the hospital, how sad is that?1 point

Portugal has been considered the country with the highest number of new infections relative to population yesterday, at least were first in something1 point

I get annoyed with the whole "pack" mentality that happens when people get on motorcycles or bicycles or whatever, suddenly they can boss people around on the street just because they are on a pack of several. Karma puts these people in positions when they're remembered that their pack is worth shit and they, and this video is such an occasion. In this case the real bad guys really only needed to merge into a different lane and were bossed around like those twats on the bikes probably did to countless other people.1 point

I love it when you come out with your feelings like that @Tym, it makes me feel happy with humanity.1 point

...honestly it is really only when I see I made a spelling error that I get annoyed. Now in this case I know it was intentional...but I still don't like it. ? Why do I care, I really don't know?????1 point
-
You know, I have to be honest. I agree with Tym. I think this all went a bit sideways today. Really, how am I to razz someone with such a name as @Boring Cnut, it feels like kicking someone when they are down. ? This is one of those times when it might have seemed like a good idea at the time, but really, was it? I vote to change it to Bruce or just anything, spelling errors drive me nuts. Maybe just Cheeks.... please @XTreme can we change it?1 point

My '81/'82 XJ550 Seca....rode this bike everyday, year-round, for 13 yrs. Scariest moment I've ever had on a bike was when I rode this beast through an earthquake.....tapped out, 6th gear, doin' about a buck & a quarter on the way to work one morning.1 point
