Does that count? No, its not registered in my name, its actually my middles brothers, mine has four flat tyres, fixing them cost more then a new wagon. Still going to call it Tymmies Wagon, and this is a Tymmies wagon report. Please forum Admins move if inapppropriate. Started here got a call on the cb i had a load! No brakes on the down hill part, almost a runaway! regained control by sliding into the pallet the KLR motor came on! @Mess take note, solid oak good pallet! Good time for an inhailer.4 points

Against my better judgement, my buddy Phil and I are going to attempt a ride from Denver to Sacramento, California beginning on 8 April, 2021. April is the snowiest month for our area, so we're hoping there will be no major snowstorms happening that week. It'll be chilly both at altitude and in the deserts of Nevada and Utah as we head west. Basic route is pictured below. 1,400 miles each direction with about 2-1/2 days each way to complete the trip with 2-3 days in Sacramento area. As usual, anyone that wants to join us is welcome - just let me know.3 points

Thanks - I think we'll need a fair bit of luck for this ride to even happen. If the forecast at time of departure calls for any snow, we'll have to delay it. Simply can't ride in deep snow.3 points

I found this photo last night. A couple of years ago we're coming back up through France on back roads, we found a cafe in this small village and after a bit of very bad French and some arm waving we sat down outside to eat. We were really just wanting a snack but in true French fashion we got the full works and for only 13 euros including beer brewed on the premises, I don't have a photo of the main course or pudding but this was just the starter ?3 points

If this carries on till the end of the year that loaf isn't going to look too fucking clever Clive! And have things now reached the surreal level where you can't ride your bike unless you're accompanied by a loaf of bread?3 points

Its the best weekend here in a long time but no bike riding for us. I think if we went out together we'd get pulled.3 points

Trip will include stops at Cedar City, Utah, Eureka, NV, Lake Tahoe / Reno and a few National Parks along the way. If the weather holds out, it should be a fantastic ride to begin our season. If the weather doesn't cooperate, then it'll suck more balls than have ever been sucked on a bike trip. It will be memorable either way.3 points

I am pretty sure they know each other and have exchanged fluids before. Way to kill the love BOB! ? We are not required to wear masks outside here, there are just not enough of us....lol3 points

Only on ones like that which have elevations rather than plan views. My Petticoat Lane market cross section drawing of a trapped road gulley has about 15 coat hangers wedged in it, because that is what the traders do with them rather than take them home, I think i may have put some hyperdermics in there as well, as the drug users get rid of them that way. When we were still drawing by hand on tracing paper I had a punk rocker with a mohawk walking across the road with a large stereo on his shoulder. I also did a proper non technical drawing to show my proposals for a market square many many years ago which got put on the front of a leaflet. It had the nutty lollypop lady in it who was always drunk and stopped traffic on days there was no school cos she liked doing it and also my then girlfriend's dad's skip lorry with their jack russell hanging out the window and his company name on the side of the skip. I have a few leaflets as souvenirs in a drawer somewhere so I might be able to take a photo of that one.2 points

You can usually identify one of my work drawings by the turd I always place in it somewhere, it is my signature. Below is one of my drawings followed by a zoom in to each side. I have a turd block, that is to say it was drawn years ago and sits in a library of my stuff and is inserted into any drawing I work on.2 points

I'm sure they do Pete but not having Yen's contacts or experience in the "underworld" of public sewerage, I don't have any other way to suggest entry to the delights of the Parisien poo park.2 points

Pete was asking about Gold beach and the WW2 Normandy invasion by the allies. I toured around the beaches in 2019 when I was on my way back up through France to get the ferry at Cherbourg. I had a bit of time on my hands and stayed overnight in Port en Bessin and then toured the beaches and sites of interest before getting the ferry back to UK. If anyone else has done the same bung your photos up here...............2 points

I got involved when I was asked to go off road with them as a tail ender. It's when I had the XL500r. I was allowed to join them on a few road outings. A bit pipe and slippery but they knew how to organise. I did get quite a few comments as I was riding the TDM and Mandi had her GSR.2 points

There's a secret tunnel that starts in Bethnal Green Road. It used to be in the middle of a traffic island, but the footway was built out around it. It is now between these cycle hire racks https://goo.gl/maps/ecoRLjTFC2dzDvc38 It runs to Whitehall amongst other places, a big network. Big enough for a car to drive along if you could get it down there in the first place. A journalist got down there and took pictures in the 70s and wrote an article about them. When I find the link I will post it. They placed gates along it after he did that to stop it happening again. I and a colleague had the lid up whilst doing a survey in the 90s and underneath is another lid with a huge padlock and a phone number with a warning notice. We rang it and had to make an appointment for them to come and open it. I misssed it, my colleague went down though, said there were communication cables bathed in oil to keep them cool, something like that anyway.2 points

We visited the beaches on a BMW outing, and lots of other places on a D day anniversary. There are plenty of things to see like some of the German built bunkers for one. But like Chris said the beaches are just beaches with everything geared up to feed and water the visitors.2 points

9c.....grey skies.....rain forecast shortly. Complete opposite of yesterday! But I've got work I've got to clear so I'll be getting on with that.2 points

The sky was grey and cold but Charlotte needed her first fuel stop so off we went. Where I live all the signs are also in the local native language. Very difficult to pronounce. Here we are at our friendly local gas station. It is so friendly the locals grab a little kiss before fueling up. ? Now my turn, Charlotte is a thirsty girl. Now off to the bike shop for some chain lube. But first I really have to pee, it's the cold I swear. This is my serious I have to pee face, just in case you wanted to know. ? Well the stupid bike shop was closed....man, sometimes this place is so annoying, but hey look at that cool truck. Time to head home, but let's take the long way. ? Well that wasn't the most exciting ride report, but it was a fun ride, just too short and too cold. I recorded a little video, but my CB is so quiet you can hardly hear her. This is a road just near my house, one of my favorites.2 points

Only that it was one of the 5 designated beaches, right in the centre between Juno and Omaha... around Arromanches. The problem with visiting the beaches today is that they bear no resemblance to what they did 10 or 15 years ago, let alone 77 years ago, coastal erosion has completer remodelled the landscape, though I believe you can still see the remains of the Mulberry harbours, one of which would have been on Gold Beach, the Other on Omaha. As a kid I studied the naval engagements surrounding D-Day ( obsessed by boats even then. so I could probably tell you what ships bombarded and then supported Gold beach, but I'm sure that's all on the web somewhere.2 points

Had a tax reminder for the XR this morning and i noticed it says on it "This vehicle needs an appropriate MOT certificate" when i checks it was right it runs out tomorrow, fucking great a valid excuse to ride the bike i thinks, so phones the place i take it hoping because its raining he'll have a cancellation and fit me in. Sure enough he had three cancellations, i thank god for pansies as gets my riding gear on and off i go straight up the Rhondda Valley a horrible place to drive or ride through even in lockdown the traffic is busy. All goes well with the MOT and its a gentle ride home along quieter more relaxing roads like this As Pete says riding is like groundhog day at the moment its the same here but i'm glad of it and stop at Miriam's bench again to look at the world below only for 10 minutes as Gale is blowing again LOL Here's a short vid of the surrounding area you probably seen it before but here it is again lots of water running down the track today and the wind made it difficult to stay on my line When i get to the bottom i see a sign saying the track has a TRO on it so i shouldn't have ridden it. The TRO is so repairs can be made to the track because this Is doing this So even my groundhog route is being eroded away. It was home on the road from only a short ride but a welcomed release.2 points

Those sort of guided tours locations take the real atmosphere out of the places though Chris. I like the suspense of being in a remote abandoned location on your own......and not knowing what you're going to find.1 point
