It's been a while since I was last on here. Mainly because being bikeless on a motorbike forum was too painful! ? But that situation has now been sorted. Just need the travel restrictions here to get lifted and I can now get back out on 2 wheels! A bit less hooligan than my last bike, but maybe that's a good thing! ?8 points

Why are you asking the women about colours, it will be like asking what colour you want to paint the living room they will come up with some colour no man has ever heard of and 10 minutes after you finished it they will say they don't like it and make you change it5 points

My best friend has a brother thst lives and works in Alberta and we had planned to go to the Rockys and then Alaska. She did it with her Dad, but I got styck in Germany... We still have many plans for Canada, she has a bike there permanently, so we will do it!! Now, wild camping... I did it last year for the first time, but no tent, just the car that is big enouth for a king mattress! It didnt go very well because a guy came after 10pm and started bathing in the dam nacked and dhowing his jowels in front of his headlights.... My dogs went bananas everytime they saw his daggling bits!! I just laughed very hard till it was all too dodgy and I left. Saying that, its less scary then a big bear!! ??5 points

Oh, well if you just wanted my attention, there are nicer aways to approach it..... You have it now, BEWARE! I don't have Bruce to make fun of anymore so I am looking for a new victim for my "nice meanness"....... ? Your Charlotte is adorable! ?4 points

Have a look HERE Usual rules of course, the wolves and the bears generally leave you alone but wild cats can creep into your tent in the night, nothing worse that waking up with an unwashed dangerous pussy on your face.4 points

Sad int it. For some reason I can’t fathom in this country it’s seems to be acceptable to treat people who work in shops like they’re subhuman. A friend of mine works in Asda said the most oft repeated word (out of earshot of the customer) is now cunt. Maybe Buckster should apply for a job there, teach them how to truly express themselves ?4 points

how to ride nearly 3 hours whilst remaining within 10km of home. something like this: nearly all pretty minor roads, which is what we like, and the dark brown bits on the trace are unpaved sections. Sun shining, spring in the air and 20 odd degrees forcast for the afternoon. I had to take N01 daughter back to uni in the afternoon so did this in the morning, set off about 10h30 up through St Bris le Vineux and on to St Cyr les Colons the village itself is "out of bounds" so cut north back under the autoroute, twice, and on to montallery and Bleigny le Carreaux. It had taken me a while to find a way out of Bleigny le Carreaux without crossing the 10km line, but a shot dirt track liason sorted the problem allowing me to cut back westwards through to Moneteau and cross the river there. There was no way to hug the northern edge of the circle without crossing out of it, so I had to work back south a little before heading towards the western sector. and some cherry orchards. soon be scrumping time... time ws getting on and I knew N01 would be getting her knickers in a twist if I didn't get back soon so from here, above Coulanges la Vineuse, I pushed on a bit down through Vinvelles, back across the river, up and down the hillclimb course at Chitry le Fort, back to St bris, cuting left up over the Col Du Cremant and back to the river at Vincelottes and thus home along the riverbanks. Got home with impeccable timing ( as always) at 12h30 just as Lunch was coming out of the oven. 100km almost exactly with a moving average of almost 50km/h . scoffed lunch, jumped in the car and did 3 hours of Autoroute taking N01 back to Dijon.4 points

Just starting this as a ‘safe place’ for Pete to escape to if there are too many posts about riding styles and oily things. Only genteel content please. Perhaps the ladies could take the red headed step child under their wing.3 points

Theres a lot of angry peeps about at the moment. I read in the paper that people who work in face to face customer roles are having a particularly hard time at the moment because the people are being extra mean arseholes right now. Did you see this one from the staff at mcdonalds in America who were fed up with people being nasty? They’d just had enough.2 points
