I give up! I've been to 4 HD dealerships over the past weekend trying to see the new Pan America. None of them have it and have heard no rumors as to when it might show up. One sales guy didn't even know hat I was talking about. Got a cool shirt for @Buckster though. Size XXXXXXL, too!4 points

They has just uncrated it so the fairing wasn’t complete, it looked good though, the motor looks weird, sits quite low but I understand the suspension raises as you set off. Edinburgh Harley are getting theirs shortly so will lend me it for an afternoon.3 points

There's another kind of mud hole he don't mind getting a few inches into especially with those gat tyres1 point

That's got me acclimatised for tomorrow's site visit to the Dinnegan boys to see how they've got on in the last few weeks without me. I shall now be able to understand them more easily.1 point

There won't be any Pete, he's not riding it just putting it in the luggage area on the bus.1 point

If the surgery I go to stick with 10 weeks between jabs then the 30th May but I’ll be away LEJOGING then Makes riding to Germany slightly more likely to happen but its all very much up in the air isn’t it?! Hopefully Germany (and everywhere) will be in a better position by September cos if people have to self isolate for yonks on return I don’t see it being a goer, those holiday days are way too precious aren’t they. I understand Portugal is currently likely to get on the green list though.. it’ll be a bumper year for them if that’s so1 point

Tsk tsk remember the key to a healthy lifestyle is a balanced diet.. too many uppers and not enough downers will make jack a very dull crazed boy1 point

Thanks Moon. I figured the mechanical zoom must be the important part and thats what led me to the bridge camera. Gonna take some effort on my part to learn how to use it but I’m up for it so fingers crossed1 point
-
if you're looking specifically at zoom capacities, most codern cameras ( especially compacts but some Bridge models as well) have a mechanical zoom and also a digital zoom, for good quality you want as much mechanical zoom as possible rather than digital zoom, which deteriorates detail quality. That's what I was told by a professional when I was looking at compact cameras. Other than that I am clueless1 point

This one's got it all......Dark Motorcycling, Offroading, and Rugged Individualism! And despite being a Pensioner, I still had no need of a Support Vehicle! Anyway, I decided to follow some of the trails round the area, and this time I wasn't concentrating just on not falling off! I was also concentrating on trying to spot any abandoned shit hidden en-route! And I found something - a large, remote, abandoned country house which was actually part cave. They'd literally dug into the hillside around it to build the caves. To get access I actually had to scale a very steep and slippery bank.......so it wasn't a ride in type of job by any means! When I got to the building (which was huge) it was sealed up tight......I know, cos I tried all the doors. As you do when you come from Swansea! But on walking around the plot I found a cave entrance where the door was open. So it would have been rude not to get in there and investigate! This shit should be on PPV really................1 point
