A few photos of my mooch about the Lleyn Peninsula on Saturday this was the route its about 150 mile round trip from the campsite First stop was at Criccieth to look at the castle but you had to pre book on line to get in so its just a screen grab from google maps for you lot The wife settled for a walk on the pebble beach, what is it with women as soon as she was on there she starts collecting stuff to take home Thought i might see Bruce bobbing about in the background but no Next stop we had a walk up to this, after some googling found out it used to be a windmill Some great views inland and of the coast, no sign of Bruce though The hills of Snowdonia National Park across the water Stopped at another beach for a walk, i liked this one it was almost deserted and free to park Had a look for Bruce here but still no sign of him Headed back to the campsite via Llanberis pass, shot a little vid on the way up, was real busy as usual luckily the bus pulled in at the top so i had a clear run down the other side We ate and drank far too much over the weekend got to get back on the trail bike to burn it off i think5 points

After dinner yesterday, I stayed up until 3AM drinking wine with my neighbor. I am finally having a good relationship with them after a lot of years of somehow never really caring much about each other, it´s nice. Today I woke up late, and went on a casual's ride to a cafe, not exactly @boboneleg's flood risks and camping under a storm, I rode 30km or 40km roundtrip, but what can I say ... it's blue skies but ... pretty windy??4 points

We arranged it when covid restrictions had the rule of 6 but as it eased we invited a couple of others. It was great to meet up again and the friday evening was a good laugh but we had to eveacuate the site on Saturday morning as the river Wye was about to burst over the banks. So I just rode a long loop home yesterday following my nose and dodging the showers4 points

For the first time this year I was able to cross into the province of Almeria! I'd done a bit of research and found a remote road (of sorts) near Cañadas de Cañepla which didn't really going anywhere other than around the area in a loop. And it appeared that it was littered with debris and devastation.....from individual buildings, to blocks of houses, to abandoned farm buildings. So here we go......this is Dark Motorcycling!3 points

Nice one Pete, it's amazing how many deserted buildings there are in Spain. You're definitely playing against the law of averages now though, some mad leper is going to pounce on you before long and give you a good butt-fucking3 points

For when you have a pleasant ride but just don’t feel like stopping often for pictures, or are just plain lazy to post a proper report, post your one stop ride report below:2 points

naah. I know from experience that most don't bother to tell you if it's negative. I had another company looking for a bilingual sales technicien ring me for an interview but they were offering 25% less than I'm on now and short of being at the point of suicidal tendancies I just can't justify that.2 points

I just got back from a weekend away with the wife touring a bit of north wales in the marmite wagon. There was a small gathering of people that normally go to a rally i do in February so we met up with them for a few beers in a Pub . The weather Friday was pretty bad but Saturday it was fantastic up there, had a few pints in a pub for the first time in well over a year. It was back to rain today on and off as we drove home2 points

Very nice great pictures, it’s a good job those sheep had the farmer with them or you would have been into them in short measure.2 points

Need to get some of this kitchen sorted. Got to do a market chip run to but it's such a ball ache getting the bikes past the bloody rabbits no doubt we'll be in the car. It's drizzling anyway. Mums funeral was Thursday and I've still got a bit of a thick head and empty wallet. WSBs and F1 on the tele.2 points

Interesting point. Like our autos, our motorcycles are made for the type of traveling you can do, mostly in the western states. Wide open, huge distances (California is over 700 miles long. I have to travel 2300 miles to get to Tennessee to buy my moonshine). Roads are wide and flat for the most part. The spaces between the roads (in the west) are also wide open. Like the GS, this bike will be an SUV for most riders. For the merry band of #AGALOS, we will hurt ourselves riding them like dirt bikes. Sunday is my turn on the bike, at Lake Elsinore (of On any Sunday fame). I understand we get to play in the dirt, even if it is a level, gravel lot. Unguided road rides means i will get to test the bike in Sport mode, and enjoy all 150 horses! Y'all make it out to Cali and you will see why most Europeans we run into on the highway are on Harley's.2 points

Do you put garlic and a little lemon juice on it? I haven't got mayonnaise at home, though, will buy some tomorrow just because and make it a point of telling the shop lady what it's for ...1 point

That isn’t sunshine. It was overcast and quite cold even at 18°... Good ride, though, am currently enjoying being on the bike quite a lot.1 point
