So as we got some sun as last it was time to take my Van Van for it's first ride . It wasn't going to be a long way and I certainly wasn't going to take it on any trails as it's far too clean for that malarkey. It took me over an hour to get used to the power (or lack of it ) , it was mainly noticeable going up hills and involved a lot of dancing on the gear lever but once I got used to it I really enjoyed the ride. So out around the back of Bath and over to Norton St Phillip and then down to Farleigh Hungerford to stop and have a nosey at the castle.......... From there I took the road to Bradford-on-Avon and stopped to see what was going on at the canal wharf.................. From there I rode through the town and headed for Corsham but on route I remembered that Great Chalfield Manor was nearby so I detoured to get a photo........... Gt. Chalfield is a 15th century manor house with superb gardens to walk around, well worth a visit if you're in the area. I like the road that leads down to it as well......3 points

Same here, ball rarely got to me due to the violence committed on the people who were supposed to pass it along to me. I have no idea if we played union or league (or what the difference was) and the only rule I knew was not to throw it forwards. In fact I only really played it to avoid going swimming because I can't swim.3 points

I back-tracked a couple of miles and then continued towards Corsham, on the way I spotted some of Fred's mates so I stopped to say hello.............. I have no idea why this dude had a big ring through his nose, I don't think he was a bull and the ring didn't look like one they use to lead the bull around, anyone got any idea what that's all about ? Further up the road I stopped at a country store for a sandwich and a coffee, they had a grass air-strip next to the place ............... Now I was heading back towards home but stopped in Biddestone as it's a lovely village with a cool duck pond............... The last stop was at Castle Coombe race circuit where there was a track day for cars. Only 66 miles were done but it was really enjoyable and not one drop of mud2 points

I got my nose broken playing Rugby when I was at school, I swallowed so much blood as it ran down the back of my throat. No one believes me now when I tell them that I was in my senior school rugby team because I can't kick a football straight or hit a cricket ball with a bat even if my life depended on it. I was a winger, although some people called me a flanker, at least I think that's what they said.2 points

I haven't got any! I fell off a DT175 in 2004 messing about offroad (wheelie went wrong).......then I fell off my TS185 offroad a few times in 1979 (wheelies went wrong again). No camera! Prior to that Feb 1978 binned my GT750 at 110 (no wheelies just a tankslapper). No camera! Nothing then apart from 71 to 73 when I came off about 20+ times on the road! A few were wheelie related as I recall.....but the majority were just taking bends too fast and grounding everything. Including twice in the space of one minute on the same roundabout in 1971 on a Vespa SS180. But again no camera for any of it! I truly was the @Buckster of my generation!2 points

After the Pan America ride test, my buddy and i head south, towards San Diego. He had being searching out some new roads, and the ones he found were epic, as much as they were new. It's pretty mind boggling to get up into the twisty's and forget that you are surrounded by about 15 million people! T This was the route, i'm pretty sure. All the green is the hilly section. Some of the highlights included a few miles of dirt between two paved sections, a decent that was over 26%, and a stop at Josie's Hangout, a re-opened biker hangout near Palomar Mountain. Josie's is where Gary learned not to give me the finger when i am sitting behind a Hells Angel wanna be The day was capped off at a diveish motel, next to Del's Hideout where i had the best hamburger i've had in years!. Not to be outdone by Gary, i plotted Sunday's return route and we spent a good three hours in the hills, with maybe three cars: We did have to forgo tacos in Baja, but that will happen soon! The bonus of Sunday's route was about 15 miles or so of good dirt at the highest point, culminating in some knee dragging as we descended back to pirate territory. Lunch stop at Josie's was time perfectly as we arrived and ordered before the parade of about 60 of Milwaukee's finest chrome showed up. There was the requisite burnouts and wheelies, but the greatest was the wideglide with the German Shepherd riding in front!2 points

It is an anti-weaning ring, must be a fairly young bullock, they put them in if they are reluctant to stop weaning as it makes the attempt uncomfortable.1 point

No, as my ex father in law said to me, non swimmers never drown because they keep out of the water. He can't swim either.1 point

I was a winger as well Ian, I rarely saw the ball though as both our centre's were greedy bastards so the ball never got out to me. Eventually I told the sports master I wasn't playing anymore as I wasn't in the game, he moved me to flanker where I got hammered in every scrum1 point
