Went for a walk to check the mail box so I stopped at the nearby creek to see how it was running. The water levels have dropped since the last rain, all ready for a new storm.... It is a nice spot to just sit and listen to the water. Just had my phone, but I got a few pics. Also a short video, I am trying the new YouTube Shorts, but they always change the perspective to vertical ......still fun5 points

Since I moved to the Sunshine Coast I have not been to a pub or bar. Years ago the only choice here was a scary country bar that eventually burnt down one night..... Now it's just hipster bars that play bad music and charge too much. Besides, I worked at a club when I was younger for years and didn't see the daylight for awhile.... I was done with bars and such when I left that job. A quiet cognac by the fire is good for me, or a lovely glass of wine with dinner.5 points

It sure was nice to get out for a ride today, had been over a week since I was out last. Unfortunately, it was a working day, so it was only a short ride into town for some required evening beverages! It was sunny, but a bit chilly, just about 5 degrees I believe. There was still snow around from earlier in the week, but the roads were clear. Headed into the big town of Sechelt, or also known as ch'atlich in the local native language. We recently had all our road signs changed to show both languages, kind of cool! The big trucks don't normally turn here, so I was just keeping an eye on the big guy! The ride home was really nice, the roads were empty and the lake was looking marvellous! A short, but a very much needed ride in the sun for the Grasshopper!3 points

Looks like nobody's living it up then? Maybe we should organise a party on the forum........I don't think we run the risk of breaking social distancing rules!3 points

And it's looking pretty good here weather-wise! And I don't have any work on either! However, I've got to go to Albox tomorrow which is a round trip of 200kms! But if I can get an early start I might be able to get out for a while in the afternoon. Sunday's definitely on though! So it's not looking too bad for me.......2 points

Does anyone on here regularly go to a pub/bar , have your habits changed with Covid ? I can remember seeing people queueing outside our local pub waiting for it to open once they were allowed to open again. Personally I have no desire whatsoever to go to a pub, as much as they say they are sticking to the regulations regarding social distancing etc you just know that’s not going to be the case once a few drinks are downed. I don’t think I’d miss it if I never went to a pub again but I’m sure that it’s a big part of some peoples lives ?1 point

Not been a regular in any pub for about 20 years, i do still go out to the local club to watch a band once in a blue moon. Most of my drinking type socialising has always been done at motorcycle events cant say i'm missing it because having a drink hits me for six for the next couple of days after i think its something to do with this diabetes.1 point
