oh dear..... I must have done something wrong in the last 24hrs to lose a vote...... Perhaps it was unleashing my inner rally driver. I do apologize for this outburst. ...wait, I know, it is because I have been conversing with the TOTY nominees too much......6 points

Goodnight lovelies. Don’t forget over the coming year that you twatishly passed up on the bona fide gem of a top banana @Grasshopper's Ride as your MOTY and voted for a lightweight halfwit. Minger losers vote wisely next year.5 points

We travelled down to my parents yesterday with a lot of traffic and a squawking child in tow who only slept for less than an hour for the whole 4 hour journey the rest was in protest at being strapped in to her seat, she's happy now that we are here not that we are doing much we are just staying here and visiting a couple of people throughout the weekend and in to next week5 points

Would like to wish you all a very lovely time, with lots of good things and, above all, love, a lot of love! This is not an easy time for me now, like for so many that have suffered loss along the way. They say grief is the love we carry and will not be able to give to those that left to early and I carry some of that love. Christmas, in the caos that was my childhood, was normally a very nice time!! Not because of the presents, I never did get that medical kit I asked Santa many years in a row, but spending many 24th and 25th of December together with the Army "family" was a lot of fun!! My Dad was on duty many years and the cute little girl that I was loved running around the Regiment and the Officers Mess, softening the hearts of the hard man, not used to a cheeky, non stop talking, mischievous small person!! They taught me that hard can be soft, that loyal is more important then novelty, that family is not necessarily defined by genetics. I loved Christmas the most in the UK, because its free from all the Catholic obligations, its very funny, with the crackers and the paper crowns, the burning puddings and the grannies drunken on Port!! Its all so special and funny for a non British person!! My older brother, a special needs child, was absolutely in Love with everything Christmas and I was fortunate to share the British Christmas with him while I lived in the UK. His happiness with the paper crown on his head while he opened his presents is a cherished memory I will carry forever!! He was, on paper 11 years older then me, but he stopped growing mentally at 10 years old, so the eternal child that, in a way, always believed in Santa, for Christmas or other wise. We lost him 6 years ago and with him went that joy that only children impart in this very special time of the year. In the past, I have channeled his love for all Christmas things via cooking and normally get busy baking fruit cakes and mince pies, all from Nigella Lawson recipes, the true Goddess, and surprise the Portuguese with these "exotic" foods with a depth of flavour not typical here. This year I didn't do said backing and I'm now really regretting it, I have realised I miss it and I need to do it double next year!! I find the best thing to do when we miss someone at these special times is to honour them by giving all that stored love to as many people as possible, as far reaching as possible, so here goes lots of love to you all!! MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!4 points

I have a pair of Timberland work boots, the Profi line that you buy in work safety shops not on fashion stores. They’ve got a composite toe cap and are made of leather, not suede, ultra grippy soles and impact cushioning, best boots I ever wore and used to really help go through winters on the warehouse. They were half the price of a normal Timberland boot when I got them, and a lot better built. After abusing them for years, my brother now uses them on the field in Croatia when he goes to construction sites, I highly recommend them.4 points

I go to the local tip a fair bit and I can see whay people would be put off, the rules and regulations are too much. The authorities are wankers as they don't encourage you to do the right thing , they just put a lot of barriers up (sometimes literally) that doesn't help. Having said all that, people who dump stuff like that are nothing but lazy cunts, I'd tie their hands behind thier backs and lay them down in that mud, then I'd ride backwards and forwards over them for wheelie practice. Sorry, but I knew I'd end up ranting after I saw that shit4 points

Tonight we will be going to Mum-in-laws (as long as Paolo has a negative test today) for the Xmas Eve fishfest. Then tomorrow we're at my sister-in-laws for a 'eat as much as you dare' type party . Yesterday I was constipated all day so I'm expecting more shit (as it were)4 points

Raining here today and tomorrow, but boxing day may not be too bad. We'll be just chilling out over the next couple of days. Christmas Dinner to cook tomorrow, but not going overboard with it. Mandy bought some Black Sheep, so we'll probably sit and have a couple of those tomorrow evening. Got some snack type things for this evening. Currently waiting for the plumber to turn up to install the new water heater.4 points

Going to be with my parents and brother today, but tomorrow morning will get on the bike and ride home. Just phoned a petrol station to make sure there are no funny ideas for Christmas day and I’m good. Weather seems to be getting dark, but that’s ok as I’ve got my tall screen on and new pants to try3 points
