The sun came out so I abandoned the kids and dissappeared off out of it for the afternoon. 200 odd km, finishin in the years failing light. temps up into double figures celsius! Tiger hiding in the shade. I actually stopped to wind out the preload adjuster on the rear shock cos my lower back was taking a beating. comfier following that. mostly still wet after 3 days of rain.

The weather's changed at last...... I haven't been out for a run for 3 weeks, and since early November I've probably only done a couple of hundred kilometres in total. This weekend should be very different......unless something happens to screw it up. So I'm planning to be out Saturday and Sunday......fingers crossed! What about you lot?

I've not stepped outside for last few weeks, don't want to tempt fate even further! but on Wednesday I decided to join my other friends for one last blast for this year. Of course as usual not everything went to plan. I bought a quad lock and anti vibration extra and...yes it still buggered up my iPhone camera. My DSLR decided to not give me any access to my aperture settings so nothing in focus and on the way back I noticed my go-pro was facing the sky! I hadn't got the screw through the holes in the camera's bracket..oh well. Anyhow I managed 450km without getting killed, the weather wasn't bad at all the temperature hit 24 at one point, we stopped off for coffee visited a couple of landmarks and I managed to get home before dark so all n all a good day out. Admin if the video I've uploaded is too big feel free to take it down. Happy New Year everyone and lets hope next year is a great riding year.

Wellll, I don't think I will be going far today. We are having very unusual amounts of snow, and it is sticking around, which it never does.... This was my driveway this morning.... Poor little bikes.....and I can't even get to the garage tent to work, not like I want too in below freezing temps...... Looks like a day of shovelling, which is really good exercise and keeps you in shape..... I got some new boots and gaiters too, so I am good to go..... The sun is also out which is really nice!!!! But that also concerns me, my rain chain and become a scary unit hanging off my house, if it starts to melt it might fall off, hopefully not through a window.....

Given that it is New Year’s Eve and I’ve been on the pop since midday I feel the time is right.
