They’ve gone to the pub for the works Christmas doo (yer I know it’s a bit late) and I’m staying put cos I’m a lightweight who can’t handle the hangover Everyone’s home this weekend so it’ll mainly be cooking and packing up ready for Mondays flight back to España. Can’t wait to ride in the warm sunshine again, this winters dull weather has sent me into full on hibernation mode.4 points

Viewed a couple just outside Oria, one shit hole, one with access issues and the other quite nice but more than we wanted to go to. Second viewing next week followed by some hard bargaining if we decide to go for it.4 points

Rode home today, for a couple of days alone before going back north to see how my parents are doing. Tomorrow might go for a little ride to some contemplation, first few days of February are tough, so fuck February! Weather is fine but cloudy and ugly, I'm feeling cold though, maybe a post covid thing. On a plus side, adjusted the bike's tire pressures today, figured the front was a little low and I was right: 0,2 bar too low!3 points

Battle for band name and Lionheart (2003–2006)[edit] In 1999, former members Graham Oliver and Steven Dawson registered 'Saxon' as a trade mark. They then maintained that they had exclusive rights to the name and tried to prevent Biff Byford and Saxon's promoters and merchandisers from using the name. Byford applied to the Trade Mark Registry to have the trade mark declared invalid. He applied on the basis that the registration had been obtained in bad faith and that he was entitled to prevent use of the trade mark by bringing an action for 'passing off', that is an action to stop others misrepresenting themselves as Saxon. In 2003, the High Court declared that it was Byford and the current members of the band who owned the name, and were therefore in a position to prevent Oliver and Dawson passing themselves off as Saxon.[10] After this Oliver and Dawson renamed their band Oliver/Dawson Saxon. I think I saw Oliver Dawson Saxon3 points

I saw one of the Saxon groups a few years ago at a BMF show. Not this original Biff type singer, but they were still bloody good. Heavy Metal Thunder is regularly played in the garage, but not during work needing a gentle touch, Denim and Leather for that.3 points

I was going to go for a ride tomorrow but the weather looks shite so it'll be rugby and beer for me.3 points

I've managed to Beta the exhaust a bit, taken the dents out last night got to weld a mounting bracket back on to the exhaust and just look it over for any more fun damage And me and the wife are out on the pop Sat night going to watch a band in one of those spit and sawdust places that was mentioned on here a while ago should be a good night3 points

It's pretty ridiculous over there now! It's not just bikes, I see people posting that they've had campervans, caravans, dogs, etc stolen. It's like the wild west there now! Did I see a statistic the other day that only 6% of all crimes get solved? Anyway, I hope that he gets the bike back @gymwitch.3 points

Well, lets see if i can make it, still havnt had last years physical and all my medications have run out. They keep canceling my appointments when i show up, did that 4 times last year, not giving them the chance anymore.1 point

I quite like the look of them with spokes wheels, but that seat is quite uncomfortable, and that suspension isn't what it should be either. BMW teased me with some test pictures of a HP2 type of bike, like these with the proper boxer but 21 inch front wheel and nice suspension, all they are showing is updates of the current models though.1 point
