  3. You want to see silly? Here's a 1998 Africa Twin for 14.000€ https://www.olx.pt/d/anuncio/vendo-honda-xrv-africatwin-rd07-1998-IDFVAAp.html#f59bbf3200 with 86.000km on the clock but wait for it... the owner states it's never been above 2500rpm before getting warm Motorcycles keep their worth a lot more here but it's also better for not loosing as much value in your own vehicle, having said that some people live in Peter Pan world. Here's the general Africa Twin market, most expensive to cheaper: https://www.olx.pt/carros-motos-e-barcos/motociclos-scooters/honda/?search[filter_enum_modelo][0]=africa-twin&search[order]=filter_float_price%3Adesc

  4. In the US, there is a group, Backcountry Discovery Routes, that has been creating offroad routes on a state by state basis. The latest is the Wyoming BDR, which had a movie premiere on Saturday evening. These BDR routes are similar to the TET, for you yurupeens. This weekend was also the day my 08 GSA was returned to me after 1 year of rehab. My buddy had ridden it last march in baja (see ride reports) and beat it up a little, so he took it home for fixins. A small group of us headed to Temecula for the showing and some offroad fun. My baby is back! Flames was painted for a TV show that Jesse James did in 2009, riding the bike on the Ice Road in Canada. The painter who did the custom work is Pete Finlan, of Hotdog Kustoms. Since his place is in TEmecula, we figured he might want to see how she looks today Pete standing next to his work Pete is well known in the custom paint world, especially in SoCal All hand painted. His style of flames is unique. Here is one he has done recently.

  6. I got 6 or 700 quid for my non running, filth covered 103,000 miler. I was going to try and give it away, I needed the room so I could have a bike ramp, but found someone who wanted a rusty non running project. They got it running (badly) but have not heard anything since.

  11. The same pictures from the start of this thread had some bloke on the Super Tenere forum mention that he had seen a video about the red lightship having a load of expanded foam removed from the hold. I asked if he had a link and he has delivered. Only seen a few minutes so far, but I was cracking up when the rotavator came in to play and the home made giant hoover is amazing.

  13. I've never had a new bike before. I've ridden other people's bikes which were brand spanking new but never one of my own. It never made sense before - you lose so much value as soon as it rolls off the showroom floor - but the problem with buying KLXs second hand around here is that they've all been absolutely thrashed. Hm, I have said this before? I may be losing my marbles but who cares, I have a new bike

  19. Whenever I am by the lightship it has a sign saying STUDIO over the door. I always thought someone was making music down there, now I know nit's more graphics type stuff from the video of their new office. The tide goes right out from under the ship, not sure how it doesn't tip over, didn't see any struts, maybe it is just tied to the wall very expertly.
