Well it looks like the crazy bitch in Poland has decided to get the kids away from the war zone for the time being. Once the youngest one's passport comes through in early April (hopefully) they're booking a plane and coming over here. And we'll rent a house or flat for them......minimum 3 months but hopefully longer! So at last we'll get to see our grandchildren......the eldest is four in August. We must be the only people on the planet who actually have something to thank Putin for........because without this war she wouldn't have showed her face here. Strange how things turn out!4 points

I MOTed the TDM on Tuesdays a noticed I only did 355 miles in the year. Not thinking yesterday I swopped the bikes around so it's behind Mandis and I can't be arsed to dig it out now, the Dominator carb is still pouring fuel over the engine so it tracer time. In a bit. And the sun's out.4 points

Shits getting real if she thinks allowing ginger access to the kids is safer than being near a war zone.3 points

After something to eat and a cigar and a good chinwag with other real motorcycle owners I headed south then east along the line of the pentlands. As the sun set the temperature plummeted but I had a great ride through the hills where the torque of the Harley really comes into its own. I got back into Edinburgh as darkness fell, I covered 135 miles in total, it was a great day.3 points

On the P&O firing question, that manner of termination of employment would simply be illegal under European employment laws. Oh, wait a minute… the Uk voted to leave the EU… Tough shit then I guess. ( but don’t let anybody say “i told you so…”)3 points

Some from today's ride. The second picture showing stone under the water is what I went to see, but the tide was extra high and covered it up. Beaumont Quay, Thorpe-Le-Soken (quite a way from the sea), constructed using stones from the medieval London Bridge. And last picture a medieval bridge still being used by vehicles in Hadleigh, Suffolk.2 points
