We had to make a change in plans as the weather here is very cold for Spring. Where we were headed had fresh snow the other day so we decided to hang out at a lovely B&B in the countryside for a few days. Then we are either headed to Prince George, British Columbia....or into the next Province (Alberta) to look at a travel trailer.......that's what happens when you get an internet connection after a week, you start shopping.....lol We are looking at maybe something like this...

I agree, DIY is cool. I converted a cargo van into a really nice camper a few years ago. Unfortunately I was not able to use it as I had wanted too and had to sell it. Good luck with your project.

They were indeed. Really nice, good humoured people, it was a real pleasure to meet them! Normally I ride alone because most people are not such good company when dealing with the travails of life on the road, but these guys were ace. I'm hoping they'll come up to Thailand for a ride soon, although fortunately/unfortunately they are gainfully employed which means they might have to wait a while for their next set of holidays to roll around...

Into the third week of my adventure and I'm looking back at last week. I have to say the highlight of the week was our hike through a park to a waterfall. I have seen some waterfalls in my day, but this one was amazing as the surrounding area was just as stunning. Helmcken Falls is a 141 m (463 ft) waterfall on the Murtle River within Wells Gray Provincial Park in British Columbia, Canada. The protection of Helmcken Falls was one of the reasons for the creation of Wells Gray Provincial Park in 1939. Helmcken Falls is the fourth highest waterfall in Canada, measured by total straight drop without a break. What a sight....

Hey everyone, so today is my adventure departure day. Had an early start and what a beautiful day for traveling on some ferries. Overcast with some mist in the mountains. Here’s to a new chapter. Have a great weekend everyone.

Setting off on Sunday 29th May and heading to Zaragoza to meet up with a couple of UK based mates. They’re riding down from the UK over two and a bit days on a Kawasaki Versys 650 and a spangly new Husqvarna 901 Norden……….I’m going on my Himalayan because it’s the only working bike I have at the moment (might chop it in when I get back so I can start a ‘guess-what-I’m-buying’ thread). The first day is a mere 546 klms for me from home to the hotel in the city centre. Good job I’ve got a fluffy sheepskin. Anyway, the plan is to head from Zaragoza through the Picos de Europa, then south into the north of Portugal (any tips of where to head to @Pedro?), returning home on Saturday evening. It'll be a blast and we’re sticking to the smaller roads so I don’t hold them up. Might even post some photos if I get really bored.

.....I reckon I should get a bit more goddam respect on here! And not be relentlessly fucking trolled all over the board by you bunch of bastards! I've got a Big Boy's bike now......and I'm not afraid to clean it! I'm odds on for BOTM this month for sure!
