Thanks, can't help but put some sort of creature in shot. Right then I've got the Ray Mears certified 3 man dome tent set up now for proper business. £30 Decathloner. The bed thing only just fits really. I'm a bit jealous of the tipi, now that would be cute + being able to stand up. That was last night. Tried it out, not bad. You can sleep on your side a bit better than on the floor with just a camping mat, the one I've got is only thin. Also it rained and everything was ok, but you'd expect that when you go overboard with a full tarp over the tent. The only thing was that in the morning (apart from the cat trying to claw his way in) I was reminded of how bright the bastard sun is at 5am or whenever it is it gets up. You can get "dark tents" these days, probably for pissed off festival goers that really need their lay in, but I like the sounds of them.3 points

Not sure yet; either to Hays, Kansas or Columbia, Missouri and then dump the truck. I'll stop along the way, get the bike out of the truck, snap a pic and then reload it. Or I might just use someone else's pics.....3 points

It was cold and raining - hard - all the way across Kansas. 42F /5C in the rain would not have been a fun ride at all. 500 miles of suck. Glad I was in the truck!2 points

Got a burr up my ass to ride to Maine. Dunno why, just seemed like a good idea. So I talked my riding buddies Dave and his wife Debbie (R1250GS) as well as Todd (junky assed Ducati) to come along with me. 10 days and about 6,500 miles for me, 1,500 less for Dave (he lives in Indy) and Todd is in between as his lives in Columbia, Missouri. The basic route....1 point

11 hours later and I'm at Todd's house in Columbia, Missouri. I'll have a day to rest up here and we're off to Indianapolis (350 miles east of here) on Thursday. Hoping to get out for a nice dinner and beers tonight - pics to follow........1 point

I'm a big GGG fan......and he's been screwed over twice already. He won the first and arguably you could say the second was a draw. Hard to get a decision against Canelo. However, the years of being a Pro seem to have caught up with Canelo now......and if GGG goes in with all guns blazing like in the first fight then you never know.1 point

Monkey pox makes an appearance every now and then, doesn’t generally take off because it doesn’t transmit easily from human to human. Cors theres always room for a mutation but its not something I’d be concerned about. Worry wise its up there at the level of getting bubonic plague from a squirrel bite1 point

Haha. Well, it was only 27 calamari for a 125cc, 20 for an 80cc, and only a 2 quid jump for a 250cc. Also looks like rental of geared things like F800 is fairly easy, didn't even look down the list for a price though. But €27 I didn't think was bad, I love a 125. Almost spent the same on petrol anyway. Didn't really need any tips in the end because I don't think I could've gone wrong really. Most of the main roads down the west and south, and anywhere away from Rhodes, Falaraki, and other obviously resort areas where bloody great. Some roads on the map look fine to the eye of an Englishman but you soon learn that it's probably unpaved. The bike was a good laugh, didn't feel slow even on the 10% inclines because it's all hairpins and Twisties. Always remember there's gravel on the apex - traction control kicked in a few times (it didn't). Watch out for cats, dogs, goats, lizardy things, white rent-a-cars, knackered local cars, excursion coaches, and wave to the older guys on their clapped out mopeds, they all gave a big smile back. Hardly anything on the road though, maybe just because it was Sunday, maybe not, who knows, but it was pretty chilled. No rozzers, saw a sign for one speed camera but no actual speed camera, and you can make good progress if you ignore any unrugged posted speed limit and even some very unindividual double white lines to be honest.1 point

Yesterday I thought It’s a nice day so I’ll take the bike out , whilst out I got in a race with a Harley Davidson , at first on the flat straight roads I had the upper hand and could stay in front quite comfortably then we hit the down hill straight and that’s when he over took me and took quite a lead , I thought I’d never catch up but when it came to the twisty uphill roads I was really on his tail , I had to peddle like mad but I managed to get back in front1 point
