Happy Sunday A ride somewhere dunno where yet, a bit of painting (hammerite on the outdoor cooking table) and then BBQ with everyone 🏍 Everyone wants Long Island Ice tea. I won't be partaking in those again for a minute or two Might post a pic of the juice squeezer though, it looks like a piece of machinery from pre industrial revolution, so heavy it needs sack trucks to move it and all for a tiny lime Was gonna post a gif of someone struggling to move something heavy but this gif came up and had to be posted, just how??!!!4 points

Had a good ride around one of my usual routes Llandovery, Llyn Brianne, Strata Florida, Claerwen Reservoir, Rhayader and home but with a small difference instead of being wet and cold i was hot and wet. As your probably aware we are having a heat wave here in the UK but there was a cool breeze when i was moving so quite a pleasant day. Should have been perfect weather to ride Strata Florida as the water levels would be low on the river which it was except all the puddles were just as deep as any other time Similar photos to the last time i was up this way except the water level is low in Llyn Brianne You can see an old foot bridge here crossing the river used before the valley was flooded in the late 60's its normally submerged One of the river crossings on strata Florida And the puddles were worse they were murky so i couldn't see the hidden rocks in them @XTreme i think i found an endless supply of milky tea for you do you want me to bottle it and ship it over LOL Managed to get a video of myself playing in one of the puddles After Strata Florida was Claerwen res never get bored of the views along here Had a run down to Llangammarch Wells from Rhayader cracking road and remembered there was a river crossing there i normally avoid because the water levels are always too high. When i got there it looked good but when i gt past the middle it went deep felt like the bike was starting to float you can see the water line on the fork gators the wave got my thighs wet and my boots filled up with water Stopped here to empty my boots out and wring my socks not a bad place to take 5 and it was home from here3 points

I'm going to a triumph owners rally next weekend in Baskerville Hall just outside Hay on wye but you probably got a better chance of getting a ride report from Hugh Hefner than me on that one LOL3 points

Not very high Pete, they're too small otherwise, that's the trouble they're damned fast and hard to pan with when close enough to get a decent shot, at a guess maybe 40-50ft3 points

Got myself a couple of 5 meter led tape lights. Thought I'd test them before fitting and a good job I did. One set leaves the blue lights on low when in the off position and the others worked perfectly, till I turned them off and now won't turn on again. Prob take most of the day to get them back in the boxes. Mandis back but says she'll be spending most of the day catching up on work.3 points

I am having my tea sat on the garden swing, where I may spend most of the morning till the swing ends up in the sun around midday. More of the same laziness this afternoon.3 points

I suppose this is the result of living in a one Donkey village in Dago land. You probably could have had a choice of twenty bikes by now were you still living here2 points

Well I've decided not to go ahead with buying this bike from the north of Spain. It's a logistical nightmare, €200+ plus for delivery, and I'm unlikely to see it till the end of the month. Knowing my luck a better alternative would then go and turn up here this week! So the ongoing Mystery Bike search continues!2 points

I'm thinking of braving the heat and heading out on the dog, got to 32°c yesterday not the temperature i like riding in. I don't think I've been out on it since welding up the subframe2 points

Can you believe that all this was within walking distance of where Pete used to live, a short walk from Mumbles to Caswell Bay.... Seals, Cormorants, Common Linnets, Rare Choughs, Goldfinch, Rock Pipits, Stunning scenery, Guillemots, Song Thrush, Stonechats, Buzzard, Scarlet Tiger Moth And he buggered off to a very brown Spain2 points

That's all you ever do with it......besides loading it in the van obviously. And then you just look at it in the van!1 point

You go to the manufacturers' sites and they're promoting all these models as normal......no mention whatsoever of zero stock!1 point

Here's something to make you realise how the years have passed! If Dio was still with us he'd have been 80 today!1 point

That's always been the case......but it's much worse now cos so few new bikes are available, and second hand prices have gone through the roof! If I could get a new CRF I'd put the money down tomorrow!1 point
