I think I read something about that abandoned village a while back. Bad case of Bubonic Plague wiped them all out. You should be alright Pete if you have no dodgy symptoms by now. Now, time to read all the other threads that have been updated whilst I have been away.4 points

Though I am reporting that I rode somewhere 160 miles on my scooter to Southampton I had fitted my helmet with a Bluetooth thingy so I could listen to music and hear my satnat, fuck that, the ear pieces were a little snug at first, after an hour it felt like someone was crushing my head Still a ride with some pain is still tons better than driving Spoiled for choice of beds, here's the only pics I took2 points

I haven’t got lady parts, I just don’t feel the need to reach past my ball sack to examine myself, if you want to finger yourself in the arse while looking at pictures of Pete’s mange, then that’s your business and no one else needs to know.2 points

You’re better tell all your friends to stay away with tales of bad food and shit roads! Thank you for the service!2 points

I haven’t tried that model but I test rode the T100 and liked it but wasn’t blown away. At the time it was that, the rninet or the Ducati scrambler in the vying and the performance of the 9T stole it. I wasn’t happy with the price tag or the bhp on a new T100 but I’d happily have a used one. I found it a very relaxing ride I smiled a lot. It had soft suspension. Rode over potholes like they weren’t there but didn’t feel planted on the corners. If the BSA hadn’t appeared that would have been the chilled ride I would of gone for.2 points

I was out at 9.15 today to try and avoid the heat.....but I ended up being out longer than I planned. So I sweated my nuts off! Followed a farm access road that I hadn't been on before......and ended up (somehow) at an abandoned village that I found by accident early this year. This was the one that doesn't show up on any maps and is not listed on any of the "Abandoned" sites that I look at.......so I can't give you any history on it. In fact I don't even know whether it's in Granada, Almeria, or Murcia provinces! At a push I'd say it was likely to be Granada......though I went in from the Almeria end. So here it is......the vid gives a better overview than the pics though. Still in Granada here..... Now I'm in Almeria...... Abandoned shit everywhere in this area....... Then I eventually reach the village after wobbling along some pretty iffy roads.... It's a very odd place because a lot of the houses look quite liveable and are totally secured. Then there's a few in this state.... By this time I was drenched in sweat so time to make a move! The bike ended up covered in sand and dust, but that situation has now been rectified! Just needs a polish tomorrow. The bike was flawless, and you can't put a price on the peace of mind you get when your bike is a Honda! As opposed to some other brands! If the 1200GS had fucked up in a location like this the consequences could be dire.....there's no phone signal and you're miles from anywhere! it's serious shit! Another benefit that I'm finding is fuel consumption......last weekend's trips and this weekend's trips have cost me less than €10. As a rough calculation that has to be over 80mpg! So there we are......one weekend and two ride reports! I'm fucking carrying you Casuals!1 point

I know we've had this discussion before about what the criteria is for BOTM, is it the best picture, or the best locqtion or the best bike? I still don't know. if ts simply the best bike picture submitted this month then there are some crackers there, however ther is one bike this month that has probably generated mo traffic and posts ond trolling and piss taking than any other so for the first time EVER, the Bike of the month ( regardless of photo quality) has got to go to @XTreme 's gay honda.1 point

On that trail there's about quarter mile of it that is not legal to ride which is crazy when you see where you are, they have driven in both ends turned around where the legal bit ends everybody just rides or drives through the bridge is behind me in my photo where the legal bit ends although that day i rode through the river as there is a ford alongside the bridge the track on the map between the red dots and red crosses is the bit in question the bridge is where the red crosses end. the red dots going past 426 is the monks trod a route i'm hoping to ride this year as I've never done it notorious for its peat bogs but only after some dry weather.1 point

Hello! Hope everyone is well! Sharing the latest post from my travels. I find it difficult to find the time to prepare these posts while I am living on the road, but I am always happy when I am done. As an old lady, I need all the help I can get when it comes to remembering all the adventures. https://www.grasshopperspath.ca/post/parking-lots-trains-windy-paddles1 point
