I was MIA yesterday because i developed a pounding headache about midday and couldn't shift it until late evening and today i'm catching up with chores around the house, just finished fitting a new mixer tap on the kitchen sink, I've been putting it off for years but last night i couldn't get no hot water out of it so it could wait no longer, fucking thing only lasted 25 years LOL and as usual the new one wasn't a straight swap had to alter the pipework under the sink which is cramped to say the least and then spent the last hour chasing leaks where i disturbed the existing fittings, so I'm having a break now while i wait to see if there's anymore leaks before i put all the useless crap the wife is storing under the sink back in6 points

I'm back home now, I reckon I was probably three sheets to wind last night as I had to celebrate my birthday even though I'd forgotten about it. I must have got out of the tent at least four times to have a piss last night and it was feckin cold. Just had a great dinner cooked by my lovely wife. I'm going to stand for the two minutes silence at 20.00 hrs if for no other reason than to piss off @XTreme5 points

I went and saw the flowers near Buckingham Palace this afternoon, not something I would have done given a choice but my friends wanted to go and chuck some on, so I thought I'd show willing. The flower bit was easy, getting back out of the area was more difficult. I didn't even know we had that many people in the country, let alone central London. Someone was strangling a Scottish Octopus by the sound of it as we came out of the station and walked into Green Park. I saw a Portaloo tucked away out of sight in Green Park. At my age, you never miss the chance for a wee so I walked around this clump of trees only to have the following rise and fall of emotions. 1/ Aha a toilet, joy to the world. 2/ Oh wo is me, for it has a padlock holding the door shut. Fuckmine! 3/ But wait, what light through yonder bollock shines? Tis an FB padlock, verily do I not have an FB key attached to my work ID pass which be in my rucksack? Surely my luck is in forsooth. 4/ Cursed be the toilet bastards, for mine own key tis an FB14 and though it fits, a pox be upon it, it does not turn! I must tieth a knot in it....... So I got behind a large pair of rozzers who barged through the crowds and had a wee in a pub next to Victoria station.3 points

Saw this in my odd places book (like the one Bob bought, but for the civilised counties) but didn't tell my mate where were going, just that it wasn't too far. He lacks my love for old trees or church yards. Supposedly the oldest Yew tree in England, I have seen estimate of 4,000 years, but also only 1500 years. I climbed inside, the odd looking pictures are of me looking upward. I went inside the church, it was stunningly beautiful inside, painted walls. There was a picture of the Queen and a book of remembrance for her so I filled that out. My mate sat outside, he fears the inside of holy places. The weird well with the conical thatched roof is near where I live, I keep meaning to stop and take a picture every time I go past. Today I tried but discovered there is a deep nettle filled ditch on the road side and a big hedge stopping me getting any closer or looking down it. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crowhurst,_East_Sussex2 points

I was out early......nice and cool then! Early 20's! The bad heat has gone but it'll probably still get up to 30 today so I needed an early start. This bike is incredible......I did about 100 miles today and I still haven't put petrol in for ages. I've got no idea how Honda have managed to get consumption so low! Also it's so much easier on these remote roads than the 650GS and the Strom......it even feels lighter than the 650GS despite being a couple of kilos heavier. As for the 1200GS it never even made it as far as the really remote stuff......I'd have probably been well and truly fucked if I'd tried. First off here's a vid of places that look well and truly fucked! I was probably in Murcia province for most of these......can't be sure because they never have signposts out here. Getting more remote now..... No shortage of abandoned shit in these places...... Even a very small church in the middle of nowhere. No human life for about 10 miles so there can't be much in the Collection Box on Sunday! Great open views out there....... Then follow the road and eventually you'll find more debris and destruction! And I even found a bit of grass! Very strange! So there it is.......Real Motorcycling! On a Real Motorcycle!2 points

I can only find information on when the supermarket petrol stations are closing tomorrow (closed and mostly reopening at 5pm). Shell company owned ones are closed from 10:30am to 1pm but the independently owned can please themselves (so will likely close and who knows whether a shell garage is independently owned or not?) and BP are saying nothing. Shouldn't really chance it cos I'm picking my brother up from the airport tomorrow but.. pah I don't want to go out today2 points

I think the bomb went off whilst they were making the warning phone call, they were still saying the name of their group 'Mudiad Amddiffyn Cymru' and the timer finished its work because they were having trouble pronouncing it.1 point
