having spent a week NOT scrabbling around in filthy bilges, NOT trying to calm down dissapointed clients, NOT doing field repairs, NOT pulling berges around and NOT trying to organise everybody else, you'll probably NOT be surprised to know that this weekend I have NO back pain, NO swollen painful knees, NO swollen fingers or toes and nobody is relying on me to answer the phone and sort out their problems. I am therefore going to make a second attempt at the Lac des settons this afternoon.5 points

I was out a few hours......weather early 20's so it was not a case of having to run for cover as I've been doing since May. There was a bit of a wind though, but not enough to cause any issues. You'll see the road surfaces continually changing as I switch from province to province so you've got to be alert all the time. And you have to be very careful with any surfaces that have been recently repaired......sometimes it's a two foot trench hidden underneath a bit of soft tar! Came across some abandoned shit but I didn't go too far inside as it was full of decomposing livestock......and fucking stinking! So here you are......this isn't the sort of stuff the Harley boys could handle obviously. But I'm sure they're well aware of their limitations! Some green shit growing in the field! No idea what it is.....I'm not big on green shit! Pretty barren out here......no phone signal either, so not a good place to bring an unreliable bike! But I'm OK......I have a Honda! Then came across this wreckage! Fucking bad smell here! Most of you Pussies would be puking your guts up at this point! Back on the road again....... More abandoned shit...... By this point I'd left Murcia and I was in Almeria...... Eventually crossing back up into Granada again! Couldn't have done this two years ago when we were locked into our areas! So a nice run out......and the bike continues to be fucking brilliant. @boboneleg understands when I say that it doesn't seem to look much on paper, and it's the same when you see one up close. It appears to be a generic UJM with a bit of Adv styling to boost sales......but the reality is that it's a whole lot more than that. You'd have to ride one to see what I mean! Everything just works so well together! If I wanted to nitpick I'd say the suspension is a bit basic and a little bit more power wouldn't go amiss. But the reality is that I can compensate for those minor things......you just have to bear in mind the allround package that you actually get. For not a lot of money it has to be said! It all comes down to getting the right bike at the right time! And at last I've got it right.4 points

Colouring tells me they're female and the fact they aren't trying to kill each other tells me they're mother and daughter We see this every year around the same time, they're taught to hunt then told to fuck off or else3 points

Thanks, was just testing my new camera, Fujifilm X-H2, image quality is pretty much the same as my older X-T2 but this has a 40mp sensor and far superior tech specs/functions, it can automatically shift it's sensor during capture to create a 160mp image, not that I'm going to have much use for that.2 points

I don’t mind the colours apart from the grey with lurid blue but you can’t fix that pig with lipstick.2 points

It's Dark Motorcycling Pedro.....you can't introduce "nice" into that scenario.2 points

Not smelling badly, not totally derelict, maybe a cafe on one of the stops, a place where people stop and think: “this is nice” or “this is nice, I might come back” instead of “this smells like sewage, oh look, a decomposing dog!”2 points

I think it's really ugly! And when you consider that I've owned 3 Stroms that's really saying something.2 points

I find red haired women sexy! Are they ginger? It won't change my fancy, but just wondering ... Also, although my hair was always dark brown, my beard is slightly red depending on sunlight and season2 points

So you say Marcel! But of course you could be one of those internet bullshitters who claims to have been everywhere, seen everything, and done everything! And then can't produce a shred of evidence to verify it. Forgot their camera or phone is the usual excuse! I'm not saying you are......but that kind does exist! Tell him @Tym1 point

My brother had brown hair (when he was younger) but his beard was mostly ginger....never been a problem for me because when I tried to grow a beard I just end up with a bit of growth on my jaw.....I ended up looking like Shaggy out of Scooby Doo so I shaved it off.1 point

So, today was a special day! I have been wanting to try off road ridding on a motorcycle, something I never did before, and it so happens a customer's mate is a professional motorcross racer and of I went to have a go with this loony that took me through rocks, mud, rivers, Sea cliffs, rickety bridges, forests and even someone's vegetable patch!! In my head we were going on a gentle ride through the countryside, but no, he decided my confort zone needed to be expanded by a considerable shunk!! We climbed and descended things I never imagined I could possibly manage, but somehow I did and the only time I almost didn't, I remembered Elisabeth R "Keep calm and never give up". I'm 3 month short of 50, going through menopause ( I hope it's that, or else my brain is deffo gone with the fairies!!), after a few years of emotional turmoil and copious amounts of anxiety, I really thought I could not hacket anymore, but today I realised I can and actually what is needed is to go, push harder, go further, face the fear, accept the falls and rejoice with the rising from them, believe we can, because we will achieve more then we thought possible!! I'm pretty shuffed with myself today and here are the pictures to prove it!! But because I'm not one for just showing off, there is also evidence of one of 3 falls, this an hilarious one, specially for the Green Laning pros amongst you!! Laugh away, it's funny! Thank you to Michi Kunz , crazy good at what he does and a very kind soul. Interesting project, worth checking out: https://sharebus.ch/1 point
