Missed all of this. Said goodbye to a friend Thursday afternoon and drank far too much with the ones still living. Why do we wait till someone dies to get together. I can't see any bad nominees there so no doubt it'll shrink your work load Pete. Lets drink to people keeping their own shit together and then everyone gets an easy ride.9 points

Most people here are sensible enough to deal with their shit without any moderation, the greatest thing about this place is that people just get on with it. Moderation should be a last resort only. Whoever gets the gig doesn’t need to be trawling through the forum constantly looking for shit to do. The occasional adjustment or cracking of heads is inevitable but it will be rare. Six is gay.6 points

I found some time to edit some of the dash cam footage I collected from my journey. This is our first week. I am not sure if I will ever get enough time to edit it all, but this first week was important for my own memories.5 points

Good drive here, and the sun doth shine ☀.....B&B is basic but has what we need for 1 night, most importantly it is clean. Mablethorpe busier than I expected and many bikes parked up. Out for food and drinks later.4 points

Very common in Nigeria, when I was working out there one of my Nigerian colleagues did it a lot, the first time he held my hand it freaked me the fuck out but given his position as CEO of the parent company it was seen as a massive compliment and all his staff instantly started treating me as a VIP. Once I learned what it was about and he wasn’t going to tongue my ear it I became more comfortable with it as an act of genuine friendship but it always felt weird. Very often his wife and kids would be walking behind us. Different cultures.3 points

I'm not familiar with the Nepalese fly area but as finding a flushing toilet is a rarity you don't hang about in Nepalese toilets, they smell like hell on earth.3 points

Before you start you've got to buy the software! As a rough guide re hosting requirements you're likely to need a VPS (Virtual Private Server)......I believe that other forum (where you PM'd me) pays about £90 a month or thereabouts. Plus you've got to add on software update and domain renewals.....so about £100 a year on top of the other costs I gave you. Once you've done all that then you've got a forum where people can then come on criticise you, complain how shit is, and how it's going down the pan. It's a dream come true!3 points

Did 10k today with the Dear Boy, same area as yesterday but instead I cut across the headland along the Saints Way to Tregaminion and came to the beach from the other side. Bit windy but not a bad day to be out. The Lodge house is for Menabilly House where Daphne Du Maurier wrote Rebecca, Menabilly is Mandelay in the book. The light house structure is actually a navigation Day Mark called the Gribbin. It can be seen for miles around and tends to be the focus of many photos. The look of that dodgy style over the barbed wire made me wince, not going to be trying that anytime soon. You can see the remnants of a shipwreck down on Polridmouth Beach. I can't remember the name of the wreck but it was a Frenchman from around the 1900s, google it if you care enough. Can't feel my legs now so may give it a rest tomorrow.3 points
