When I lived in Georgia we had snow one year, I didn’t consider it snow but it put the entire state into panic, some friends had invited me for lunch and I turned up on the Harley, they looked like they were preparing for the new ice age. I had the police try to tell me it wasn’t safe to ride in, I explained it isn’t snow until it reaches the frame, once they heard my accent they apologised and left me to it.9 points

And has now turned him to the gay side of things..... He will soon be heading for Spain and meting up with Pete in some waste land to act out his fantasys..8 points

After a emusified pork tube sandwich with brown sauce and tea it was time for a Sunday Bimble. I wanted to enter the BOFTM so despite it being a bit drab weather wise I thought I would give it a go to get some shots of the bike. Only went about 50 miles but thoroughly pleasant ride, hardly any traffic and no rain on B roads, the perfect place for a Himalayan.7 points

My day started sat here wasting my life catching up on things when i spot the plod knocking on a neighbours door on the CCTV, It wasn't long before they were knocking my door as they had spotted my CCTV camera. Apparently our neighbour left her front door unlocked last night and someone had been in and stolen her bag while she was home in bed and her son in law was flat out on the sofa after a skin full. After an hour of staring at the CCTV footage i found someone entering her house, the footage is very poor but you can just make him out trying the two doors before the one he entered, he's in there for about a minute and you can see him on the doorstep casually looking through her bag as if he lives there. Don't know if the CCTV is any good for them but now they know its one guy and which direction he went and what time so they can check any other CCTV in the area7 points

I know I am going to be accused of being boring or even gay or both but I came back from my Bimble today with filthy boots. No biggie just going clean and waterproof them as normal but the bossy (middle) daughter got involved and told me I was doing it all wrong. Of course equine riding boots/saddles/tack ect get much better care according to her. So under her direction after wetting the boots I first used Oiled Saddle Soap. Let that dry for 20 minutes buffed, then moved on to Leather balm which you apply and polish off like normal shoe polish. Finished off with a rub with leather conditioner. Apparently they will be waterproof after this, just need to repeat weekly. I gotta say they do look, smell and feel nice, whether I ever do all of that again is debatable and I do have a sneaky feeling I am being set up to buy more product for her as all the tubs I used were nearly empty. It looked like expensive German stuff to Mind you I don't care, I get precious little time in her company so it was nice to do something together.5 points

I was out at 11am......and it was a bit nippy then. But I should have my handguards on soon so that'll help. Today I wanted to revisit a station that I went to in the Summer of 2020......but I was in the car then en-route to Albox for the Brit Supermarkets. So it's not the same. The unusual thing about Tijola is it's one of the very few which actually has a Locomotive on display there: the restored RENFE diesel 11339 'TIJOLA'. The station itself was opened in 1894 and linked the provinces of Granada, Almería and Murcia. It finally closed on December 31st 1984 when all lines were shut down. Some of the old railway equipment still remains in place there, and the station building has since been restored and used as a restaurant.5 points

Cool, I have just shown Kady, she reckons they are spicy, which sounded positive. I don't get involved much with the cost, basically my Mrs works to pay for the two we Loan, rent and pay livery for. There has been much talk about buying but I have been against it because as soon as we do it will be another pet whether the thing is suitable for them to ride at that moment or not. At least with loaning once they outgrow the horse they can move on.4 points

Forgot to say Happy Sunday… HAPPY SUNDAY Had one of my favourite lazy Sunday lunches. No peeling potatoes, only one pan to wash and with the peppers, garlic n dusting of paprika makes it a feel a bit Spanishy too Washing it down with a crisp white wine also helps improve things a wee bit Before n after Mr Slowly first made this for me on Mother’s Day about 15 years ago, the brownie points went off the charts4 points

Two pics from today. One is the lid of my pannier in airport parking (ooh exciting tell us more I hear you cry ) and the other the blue sky from my bedroom window.. aah. Why this one? Cos I’m that pleased with the pannier set up I took a pic Givi make good use of the pannier lid space by putting little hooks in the top and making cargo nets to fit. Means whatever you want to keep easy access to is in the lid. My latest purchase was the backpack you can see inside the pannier lid here. It’s brill when touring and you’re loaded to capacity but want to stop and pick up food just before you reach your destination, it’s always ready to hand. and this one because some folk back home can get a bit sneery about me coming to Spain a lot, I arrive to warm sunshine, see blue sky from my bedroom balcony and think FTH!!4 points
