New lid day. Decided that I'd like a system helmet with a drop down sun visor this time. Bit of a deal at 149€ I thought.

Spent the morning washing the bike, twice! then cleaned inside the airbox, sadly I didn’t remember to buy a new air filter so gave the old one a good shake. It’s not bad but desert silt is very fine. Also cleaned inside the ecu box, which needs it after dust and rain. Still doesn’t look properly clean if you look up close though, bastard GSs are a bitch to clean properly! Now out on a short ride to buy some wine and bread and warm the bike up properly. Have my classy leather jacket so feeling very cool

Just got back from Albox! €250 worth in there! But apparently that's not enough so we've got to go to Baza next week!

I'm on my third one of those. I chose it because the visor opening is larger so I can see to the side better, plus when riding into very strong sunlight, that even the tinted drop down can't cope with, I can dip my head a little and use the peak as a shade. The peak does not try to rip your head off at motorway speeds either.

It’s my last weekend on the Coast. Departing from camp on Monday. Spending time getting the vehicles packed and adventure ready. Visiting with some friends and stopping by a few places one last time. It’s getting hard to sleep as the excitement builds. I just want to get rolling now. I guess I will spend some more time looking at weather forecasts and practicing my French. Have a nice weekend everyone.

I ended up putting it back in with just a few taps. Will replace it and change the oil soon.
