Well I don’t want to turn this into a love in but I’d nominate @Pedro His Morocco report was awesome and not just the riding

After days of Ice and Gout it was a joy just to get out on two wheels again. Twas blowing a hooly and pissing down but that didn’t matter just had to get out there. First order of business was to de muff the bike, they work well but I just don’t like them. Not being precious I can pop them back on quickly enough if the temperature drops and needs must. Also I had a pair of boots with Gortex that I wanted to try. The are Gaerne brand, never heard of it but they were only £17 from EBay. Advertised as worn once and I would believe it they are spotless with no signs of wear at all. Anyway they passed a 25 mile test in the deluge so hopefully I have got a bargain. I was a bit concerned that the bikes battery would struggle in the cold but it fired the bike no issue at all. I popped down to Fowey town quay to get a picture next to the Rook with a Book. Then rode over to Caffa Mill to get a picture of the Bodinnick Car Ferry. I spent a few weeks working on that. Twas a lovely job but the boss was an unbearable two hat so it didn’t last. Nothing like a mini bimble to lift your mood, I am a happy bunny for the first time in days, well until the kids piss me off anyway

I think i'm due for a blow the cobwebs off ride haven't started a bike in about 4 weeks. I have bought an ex RAF Gore-Tex jacket to try in the rain but there was no chance i could bring myself to go out in yesterdays weather here

Diner today was a vegetarian tagine sheppards pie combination, for vegetarian friends. Was nice!

Chatting with my boys at the weekend and it looks like both of them have managed to get themselves new jobs. Hopefully they'll be able to afford to get themselves a place of their own, as it sounds like living at their mum's place is turning into a bit of an ordeal! Here's hoping.

Rung AO....no delivery till well into the New Year.........so our daughter has ordered one out of her catalogue....a Indesit model......no date for delivery yet.....we will pay our daughter the full amount...not messing about with terms. I have looked at our washer....the drum is a sealed (bonded) unit.....can buy a new one but it is £190 ......the washer we ordered is £210.

Pellet Burner's done! Then at 4PM today I've got to pick Jake up to take him for a haircut, so I'll get mine done at the same time. Midday on Wednesday I'm booked into Juan Cortes for the tyre and handguards to be fitted!

I like the coloured film footage they do now technology’s moved on. When they started doing it it was so clumsily done it ruined the footage but now it make it seem more real. The footage they’ve done that shows people smiling and milling around outside their doors completely oblivious to what’s coming is always chilling.

I go on a few Facebook groups for WWII then/now pictures. I think one of them is DDay then/Now or something like that. Another one I like is Tom Marshall, who colourises old WWI era photos. It completely transforms the images. I guess it's a bit morbid looking at these pictures, but it does bring home to me the bravery of the soldiers and the futility of war!

Vehicle started in -23c weather Drove 500kms and saw lots and lots and lots of white stuff....everything just white, up down and all around <insert twitching> Entered into another new Province, Saskatchewan Lost another hour across another time line . Made it safely to destination and now for some pics...

We got it dropped for my boy but that was a washing machine and a dryer. They started off wanting £40 each. Lots of places online under cutting them, they try to make it difficult by altering the model numbers making it difficult to match. Deserve loosing the sale for that alone.

The door on the pellet burner started rattling at high speed.....so I called them to come and check it out. Looks like the gasket is defective so they're picking up the door later (once it's cooled down) to fit a new one. All under guarantee so no sweat!
