the atmosphere at home is electric at the mo, one of the twins passed her driving licence theory test missing a 100% score by just one point whilst the other one flunked it! ( lazy cow didn't think she'd need to actually work for it and learn stuff...) so she's 30€ out of pocket cos I said I'll pay for the one they pass. she's also just twigged that I'm only supplying 1 vehicle and her sister's looking like getting there first...6 points

I knew it. Bloke next door moved to Australia, he's got a visa on account of his wife being invited to go work for a big firm there, he's traded his Elise with a big V8 Ute to go all Australian. I knew it was a fake, poor dude is probably living in his basement instead4 points

I had a XT500 years ago that I rode around for a couple of months until my mate passed his test. I also had a CCM450GP in my garage for a couple of months. I only rode it twice , the second time was to confirm to myself that it was as shit as I thought the first time I rode it4 points

Ordered a new sleep mat today, I was going to get one from Kilos Gear where my chair came from but the one they do is 5cm shorter than I wanted, I was recommended to one on Amazon that goes for only £35 so I thought for that I will take a punt, in the end it had a discount on it so got it for £28. The one I really like is £250 and I will not be surprised if I end up with one of those in the long term but let’s see what this budget option is like.3 points

Can't see how you could remain customer with a bank that does that. I am sorry though, makes use feel fragile to think our money isn't safe.3 points

Wish it wasn’t the first time I’d heard it. Didn’t really feel like it was my money anyway cos my Dad gave it to me so I thought I should look after it, hence paying £8.50 for their care. I’m not with your solicitor on this one, no he won’t make a profit but cos it’s personal, the banking ombudsman will be called in early.3 points

Ignore their lunch recommendation. No "home-made food" place will have good vegetarian lasagna and good fish and good duck rice, never been there but I'll guide you around if you ever come through these parts!3 points

That sucks big time! I have been the victim of fraud a couple of times, both times I found out because my bank called me within minutes telling me they solved the issue, refunded the expense and called me to say not to worry. This might not be of much help to you, but even so it serves to say it's not always bad.2 points

This just about sums up my feelings; The Amazon River runs for thousands of miles. At some points it runs through areas of rain forest that are almost untouched and have been barely explored. Because of the porous limestone in these areas, the river water leaks in through the stone and travels deep into the earth, and forms underground pools almost a mile below the surface. Over thousands of years, small blind transparent fish have lived and evolved in these pools. These fish have never seen the sun or surface and have never been seen by the human eye. These fish care more about this than I do.2 points
