Very cloudy day today, vacuumed the house and did the laundry, cleaned the bathroom, hung the bedding out to dry before leaving to meet my friend Dani for lunch. Then stopped by the Dainese place to say high to the guys there and buy a case of wine. Back home to dry laundry and just finished making the bed and talking to my neighbors who gave me soup to keep on the freezer. All in all a good Sunday.

I've been out for a couple of bike rides recently, but not actually got around to posting on here. Anyway, we went for a little walk round one of our circuits that we like on la massive de la clape yesterday afternoon. It's a 10 minute drive from here. There was plenty of evidence of wild boars rooting around in the soil and stones, but we've not actually seen any there. I suspect that they're more active in the early morning or evenings, when there's fewer people about. It's a nice walk and the weather was perfect for it.

Took my granddaughter for a 15 mile ride. , she wanted to ride further....a nice day for it too. ☀ I arranged a escort, just in case.

Fitted a lower yoke wind deflector today to reduce air coming up between the front of the tank and the fairing. Initial impressions are that it works quite well but I need a longer run to really test it. before and after

Worked Friday night, had last night off to sing with my choir and had a blast. Our first concert back with our new Musical Director, went very well I thought. Even managed my solo piece without and feck ups. Bit fragile today, first time I have been to the pub for awhile. Back to work tonight. My weekend in a few sentences.

Got back a little while ago from Friday's Drag Bingo, Saturday's pub beach party and today's Excel bike show. The highlight of the show for me was some bloke crashing whilst entering the indoor parking shed. He almost dropped his huge adventure bike on top of the bloke directing the bikes to their parking spots, but he leapt out of the way just in time to save himself. I was a bit delicate when heading off to meet my mate on his new to him CCM this morning before heading to the show, but I livened up a little bit by mid day. Tomorrow I have to get up at the crack of dawn, ride to my contractor's yard to park my bike, then get the tube to our new town hall to be inducted. I hope they use lube and have warm hands.

Your mates CB looks like a toy next to your GS. Mind you I was next to a Keeway ADV type 125 today and that was taller than my CB. I like the fact the CB feels like a 125 with a normal size engine in it.

Fitted a similar thing to the Africa Twin to stop the updraft vibrating your helmet, you should have seen some of the comments on the group page it ranged from, you don't need it to it will create lift and make the front wheel light and handling crap. I did need it because i noticed the difference straight away and no it doesn't create lift dopey fuckwits

A spiced leg of lambs been blipping away overnight in preparation so there’s something warming after Love coming back from a cold ride and walking in to the smell of hearty food waiting for you, like previous me has been kind to future me, makes the winter worthwhile
