Got the operation for my prostate booked for 17th March, pending the results of my visits to the anaesthetist and cardiologist on Friday. No biking or cycling for at least a month after the op according to my urologist. So I guess I'd better start practicing my tai-chi to keep mobile. I'm looking forwards to getting it sorted, but a bit nervous about it too.7 points

My brother in law has just undergone the same, think he was very nervous about it all. His was done just before xmas and he's now back at work. His biggest gripe was no alcohol so no real probs. Best of luck.5 points

We had friends over from the UK for the weekend. It was nice to just chill out with them for a couple of days. Shame that it was a bit chilly here, but we did get out and show them around a bit. We over catered the wine a bit, so Mandy is gutted that she's now got a shed load of wine to drink!5 points

The 9T’s no shed, the GSF 1250’s barely a shed, the Harley Livewire is definitely nowhere near a shed and the BSA is an unknown quantity. Could be worse I could be falling asleep riding a pipe n slippers Honda3 points

Got pre party food prep to do today on top of the usual work and picking up an oven and viewing a flat in Brizzle. Got a bastid headache too, that’s Henry Westons fault, annoying git making drinks that don’t taste alcoholic, then you suddenly notice (when it’s too late) its 8%2 points

I always really liked the 8 ball. Great lines. Shame they stopped production. The dealer told me it was because they couldn’t meet EU emission standards without doing a redesign and as they didn’t sell enough of them to make their money back on the amount of investment that would take Polaris decided to drop Victory and focus on Indian.2 points

I have seen the Aurora twice.......not the Aurora that you see in the promotional material for Aurora sightseeing trips where it is dancing through the sky......it was a green hue in the sky.....but it seemed to move a just a little.2 points

I have a small unobtrusive extender on the 9T which works okish but I still end up with an air hockey puck in my jacket to throw down, requires precise stopping on return or flailing one leg around like you’re doing the hokey cokey. The one bag thing does and doesn’t work for me. If it’s a roll top wet bag strapped across the panniers I find it useful for capacity but a total pita to undo to get things out. Plus I’d don’t enjoy lugging a large heavy bag over any distance. I think it depends on what you’re doing. Riding to a destination not much distance away where the bike will be close then one large bag works for me. Multiple stops moving on everyday, doing distance and variable weather forecast I want easy access to waterproofs, my sarnies and flask. So I have two set up’s. The one you showed me and this one that looks awful but I can get into the panniers on the fly and remove the important stuff in the tail pack and/or tank bag in one click. The top of the pannier bags are small enough to be Ryan Air under seat (ie free) compliant so a win for me.2 points
