Just been out for a mini Bimble to accompany my mate on his maiden trip with his CB. We popped up to Dameralls to see the new Reg bikes going out. 47 going out over the weekend apparently. Anyway I had to bite my tongue as my mate said that his fingers were cold but his palms were fine with his heated grips going. I didn’t have the heart to tell him. . Anyway he has the first 25 miles on his bike now. That tail bag is a pain, don’t know how often I will use that. Think I prefer a rucksack.6 points

I remember a clip that was circulating a few years ago with the Iranian women rugby team playing the Australian women. The difference was that Australia fielded a 6'2" trans women, who went on to flatten the Iranian team who were an average of 5'4" . Didn't seem very sporting to me. A trait that if continued would exile biological women from the women's game.4 points

I like the Honda ones as they integrate neatly with the bike so you get the heat setting displayed on the screen plus the controller for the grips is built into them so no separate switch but even with all that to persuade me i'd still like them to get hot, i know fussy ain't i3 points

The Honda heated grips were useless on the Africa twin when it came out barely getting warm they were £300 before fitting and Honda refused to acknowledge there was a fault with them luckily I read about them before I bought any3 points

Might have mentioned this before but this thread reminded me of it again. Many years ago probably 30 ish i was working on a welsh water site installing a shower and toilet in one of their office buildings, i was curious why as there were already working showers and toilets there, when i asked whats the point of another shower i was told it was for Sue, i assumed it was for someone who might have a disability and couldn't use the the ladies, so anyway i carried on. i was talking to someone else the next day and asked who Sue was all i got was oh you haven't met Sue yet have you and they walked away laughing, a few weeks later i found out Sue was an electrician called Phil i used to bump into on various welsh water sites he just started turning up for work wearing a dress and wig saying he was a woman and his name was now Sue, the problem was none of the women wanted him using the ladies toilets and the men didn't want him in the men's so that's why i was there. I first saw him after that when i was driving up the A470 and was passing a welsh water van, i always look in to see if i know who's in there and i'll never forget what i saw it was Phil the leccy with a white dress on and an ill fitting blonde wig along with bright red lipstick which all went really well with his thick hairy arms shoulders and 5 o clock shadow, he was a damn ugly bloke and didn't transfer over to a woman well. He carried on working for welsh water for a few years after that but was a liability he was constantly filing sexual harassment charges against his work mates so nobody wanted to work with him and eventually took the full plunge and had gender affirmation surgery. But after he had his cock chopped of he changed his mind decided it wasn't what he wanted and then tried to sue welsh water for not giving him proper counselling before his surgery. Welsh water supported him in every way they could before and after the surgery, they footed the bill for almost everything he asked for to accommodate him probably because they were too scared to say no in case the press got hold of it as stuff like this was a hot topic back then, not sure what happened in the end but it was clear to me he needed psychiatric help from the start not his cock chopped off.3 points

Having got back from the UK at the start of the week I’ve been pretty busy with stuff around the house but I did manage a quick trip to Murcia city to buy a new helmet……..nice to be back in the bike again. As for this weekend, who knows? Maybe a short spin out on Sunday……..need to hatch a plan Pete to meet up for a ride out and coffee etc…….no fucking abandoned villages this time.2 points

She wanted those blue LEDs instead, I know its a bit dark but the stage is set for her, she loves it like that. I think she would like to be a Goth but that doesn't chine with her horse obsession.2 points

It's the camera stabilizers and zoom things that get broken by vibration, so I would say all of them. Although, surely the kind of bike and engine and riding must affect it?2 points

The salesman Damerells advised me not to get the Honda grips, the ones I have would have been £200 fitted and work perfectly. I didn't pay as they were part of the deal buying the bike. From what the salesman was saying the Honda grips only heat where your palms sit not all around the grip. Don't know more than that just what he told me. I didn't repeat that story to my mate as he wanted the Honda ones and paid the premium for them.2 points

Not done that much this week as I have been decorating my Daughters room while she is away. I did pop up to my mates house, so managed just 30 miles this week. I am taking it to work tonight. MPG is hovering around 85 mpg, but I haven't commuted much with it yet, so that is just local, I reckon it will go up when I am. regularly commuting. I was having a laugh with my mate who has a Indian Scout, CB500F and Yamaha TY. He won't ride the Scout cause he wants to keep it spotless and the milage down, he bought the CB last November and hasn't done one mile yet as he doesn't want it to get salty and he won't ride the TY cause it's to slow for the road. He is telling me he needs to get an old beater to save the CB that he bought to save the Scout. The reason I mention it is he is always asking me how I am getting on with my CB as he won't ride his. He also told me his CB stands him £6800 after all the farkles he got for it. £400 for Honda heated grips .2 points

Every time you watch a news channel it’s the topics of conversation … politicians going on about it … I don’t know how many transgenders there are over here but it must be a tiny tiny percentage , you’d think it was 99% of the population …1 point
