Been up to Peter Hammond motorcycles as they are closing down. A bit damp on the way …. Currently sat in AV8 cafe as it’s absolutely chucking it down

I want to know if i drive an electric car through the clean air zone at 70 instead of 50 will i still be done, it states clearly that the speed has been reduced to combat air pollution so if my car produces no pollution then i should be exempt from the speed restriction surely

Took my mate to Damerells and Thors today to look for his fourth bike that he won’t ride when it’s wet. Didn’t bother taking any photos at Thors but took a few at Damerells. I did notice that my Himalayan was in the sold line.

We have a few groups of local Ned’s that use electric bikes now rather than scooters for their criminal activities, a lot of these things will do 70+, they are unregistered of course and the yoof wear balaclavas. Of course the police are not allowed to chase them in case they fall off and get hurt. I’m guessing they are bought with ill gotten gains or stolen.

We have a lad on the estate with an electric bike. Christ that thing shifts. He's a very skilful rider as he can wheelie the thing for ages but yes he's going to hit something soon and hopefully injure himself and I'll be the first to laugh at him.

We did start setting it up but Pete didn't like the idea

My pump arrived yesterday evening. It came with crocodile clips as well as a set of leads with ring terminals. I fitted the crocodile clips on just now and stuck them on a bike battery that has been sitting in my garage for about 2 years. The pump spun up and air came out of the outlet valve, not tried it on a real tyre yet, will do that another day when I have more time.

Yep they definitely didn’t pay it due regard. Getting the bastid thing out is a right royal pita. One of the frames bars cuts across the corner of the battery housing. It has to be levered from behind and pulled from the front in a wriggling motion. Total fail. Yes Pete I should have got a Honda

Calm down Mr OCD If I had the energy to clean it I’d be riding it, probably to the supermarket cos I’ve only got a pizza base and rice noodles left in the house. Haven’t even had a cup of tea yet. I thought I would die if I went til lunch time without a cup of tea but it turns out I don’t.

Tomorrow I’m hoping to be recovered enough to ride to the big supermarket (big whoop for the exciting times ) and get some supplies before Mr Slowly arrives on Sunday. Emailing airport parking so hopefully his bike will be charged when he arrives. If not I’ll ride over to Malaga with the NOCO

I think that police can't chase them incase they get hurt should be overturned, they are using them for illegal things so to me they forgo the right to be protected

I used to work for neuron a couple of years ago and apparently everyone needed a licence to use them but what happened more often than not is a parent would hire the scooter on their account and give it to the kid, also the amount of people who we caught riding them two up was ridiculous, they weren't best pleased when we would drive by and remotely turn them off, but I agree as a trial to get people out of cars it's a failure. Also the unregulated ones are stupid, most of them will do 40mph or more which doesn't bode well for when you come off

He did work with me up till 2016......I'd even put the business in his name in 2013 to give him a future. But he walked out and went to Poland to be with her......dropping me in the shit. She told him if he didn't go over there she'd finish with him......and the twat ran there like a little puppy. She then came on the phone and told me the business wouldn't last a year cos what I do is low class simplistic shit that anybody could do. 6 years later the business that wasn't going to last a year paid for them to come over, bought €4K of household goods for them, and paid their rent. And she's still abusive! I'm not going to elaborate but one day she will be held accountable whether she's in Spain or Poland!
