That's awful! For both patients and staff! But we know who's responsible........and they'll keep deliberately running into the ground to sell it off!5 points

Had a meeting with Pepe the Head Teacher.......who I get on very well with. I thanked him for all he and his staff had done for our grandson, and apologised for any situations that the Munter had caused. Soon as I mentioned her, his face changed from relaxed and smiling to a very serious look. The Spanish always give their feelings away in their face. Unfortunately so does the Munter......and her facial expression is always angry and glaring. I don't think I've ever seen the fat cunt smile. I explained what her endgame is in terms of dragging them back into the Slavic ghetto if Jake doesn't get a place in this new school......and I've asked him to do whatever he can to help the application. And he will. Because if the Spanish like you they'll do anything for you. If they don't, then you may as well book a flight out of here because it won't end well. So.....just got to wait for Madrid to review the application. If we get the green light from them then Fatty will really lose her shit cos she'll know that I'm the one that's blocked her exit route!5 points

Follow up to the no place in the school in Madrid situation! My boy did what I told him to do (gotta be a first) and the school has given him another form to complete and take in next week. There may be a window of opportunity to get a place because the youngest one is already booked in to start in September. However, I've got to get some documentation released to Madrid from the school here......so I'm going in to see the headmaster in an hours time.5 points

He may be 42, but his brain is 14 years old, he rides around all hours of the day and night on his mountain bike getting stuff ( beer & cigs) off of his so called friends. I am so glad he does not live here.4 points

Finally......things are changing for the better! But the wife has announced that we've got to go to the fucking Garden Centre in Caniles tomorrow! Should be all clear on Sunday though! So what you got planned? Ride reports are desperately needed or we're going to look like a bunch of casuals who spend all their time gardening!3 points

Same as my boy not lazy at all just always tired LOL, i know one of the guys he works for in rock city when he was home and cant praise him enough and always asking when he's coming back but that work is only the odd weekend. He needs full time work to fund the lifestyle he wants so once he's back from the isle of man he's going to have to get real and grow up because we are not funding his lifestyle. If he needs help with bus fares to work or clothing for work things like that then fine but not if the reason he got no cash is because he was out with his mates all weekend.3 points

I’d find that hard to live with. It’s his life n all that but what sort of life is it? Unlikely the sort you look back on and think, that was a blast or I’m pleased with that or even oh well I had a go. No thanks!3 points

Yes and no. He's extracting himself from things now other family can be put in the frame but he's not completely out. The kitchen fitters are looking at the flat next Thursday and he's been offered tickets to go and see Tenacious D on the Friday which would be shame to miss out on for the sake of one more day. If all that goes to plan and everything else stays settled (please god) then flight straight after We'll see.3 points

Feel your pain. Have just been discussing my sons (one in particular) not grasping how much life costs and immediately after that discussion the youngest announced he was £300 short on his rent payment - after returning from a shopping trip and planning his weekend out seeing a band etc etc. Mr Slowly said the usual parent stuff like you need to get a job but the reality is while mum and dad bail him out the pain of being potless is unknown to him and that pain is an essential motivator. I've told Mr Slowly not to stress, we just need to stand back, watch the inevitable car crash happen and tow our line on the level of support we're offering. I'm sure soon enough his desire to eat and party will drive him into employment. He's not lazy, far from it, he's a right royal powerhouse when it comes to hard work, it's just the penny still hasn't dropped! Unlike your son he's a uni student so is till getting a lot of living expenses paid by us and the 4k a year graduate tax crap. No way he could afford Bristol without it.3 points

I posted a query on the Pajero forum and got much good advice, forget the cute rooftop bed, hipster stuff, plus much more relevant info from camping enthusiasts. I decided to get a camper trailer, didn't want to tow one 2000k's so looked up the ones for sale in Queensland and they are abundant and can be had for very little money, even with all the cooking gear etc. Maybe €900 for something like this, queen size proper mattress with a small annex, includes awning, everything I need. Right, next obstacle is getting there with all my gear, clothes, pantry etc, some tools and so on, take out the seats they said, put in a mattress, so when I drove home from town I pulled up where I wasn't crowded in and looked at the rear seats, popped the latches and folded them forward, still not happy, came inside, opened YouTube and bingo, there's a trick to it, got the seats fully forward releasing a decent size cargo space, read some more and the passenger seat becomes a full length bed, its all in the levers and buttons so that's saved me time and money, check the pics, the seat/bed needs refining but I did that in my driveway which has very little room on that side but I now have the secret revealed. This is enough to get me to Queensland sleeping out in the backlots of country pubs that almost always have free camping, a few beers and a feed and that's a good night out for the price of beers and a meal. What a great piece of design, what a great car, in the end this will cost me SFA.3 points
