Got to fit the mobile bar now......so screen will have to come off! It'll have a good wash when it does......I can handle that. The rest of the work is going to involve tools.....Allen Keys to be precise. Got to ask the wife if I can borrow hers! She don't like giving me tools, because apparently I never put them back where I found them.4 points

Why are you in this section? This section is for people who ride motorcycles not for those that take their motorcycles on holiday in a van.3 points

As much as I like the sound of my exhaust, it is a bit of a pain for touring, especially with the trailer as sound is reflected back at me. I certainly cannot risk going abroad with the bike with the current set up. I also know I am sacrificing torque for horsepower. Unfortunately I cannot just switch silencers as the headers are two inch on the Rinehart system currently on the bike as opposed to one and three quarter inch as per standard. So I am ordering a set of S&S Power Tune dual headers and for now will use some standard silencers I have in my storage unit, it’s going to be very quiet, which the neighbours will no doubt like, I will gain a little bit of torque and lose a little bit of horsepower. Later on I will fit some after market silencers when I find ones I like. The added bonus is that the left hand header will be away from the passenger foot peg which is currently a challenge for the occasional lady pillion passenger.2 points

Give him a break, an inability to do things correctly mechanically is going to discombobulate a maladroit.2 points

Yep, you use to be able to get a nice cup of tea in the chapel. In other news John Wesley used to preach at Hanham Mount just up the road from me and you use John Wesley Road to get down to the road where I live https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Wesley1 point

@boboneleg I did not know the oldest Methodist meeting place is smack bang in the centre of Bristol???! How does a place that big disappear in the centre of the shops? World in Bristol for over 20 years so I find that unbelievable. A 'library' of 9000 books of the methodist religion and a room of worship replete with benches dating from the 1700's tucked behind Boots chemist?!! Crazy!1 point

Just got back from Bude bike night, couldn’t be arsed to stay all evening Twas pretty boring. But took a few pics of what interested me. I think there is some sort of squabbling going on with the regular bike night crew, quite a weird atmospheric vibe. Not that I care really but probably explains why it was quiet.1 point
