Last time I was here was about 3 or 4 years ago......when I had the Strom. And just like back then, it was bloody scorching today at 37C No sign of any repairs having been done to the station building over that period, but at least it doesn't seem to have deteriorated any more than it was. Watch the vid......it'll give you a better overall perspective! The bike ran well......didn't miss a beat! After nearly a year of ownership, I can't fault it! Admittedly it won't get your adrenaline going......and it certainly won't get you a blowjob! But you can be damn sure that it won't be going on a Grua any time soon! If ever!6 points

Who will win this month? @Marcel with his shiny new Indian? @busabeast with his Yoshimura stickered bog standard Suzuki? Maybe @Slowlycatchymonkey will finally take a photo of the mythical BSA. As a change this month I will be starting the discussion thread in the gallery early to give you time before the submissions start, I know how you all like a bit of submission. @Six30 you can ignore this.4 points

That is just moronic you'd have more street cred if you had a trike! And it's required you to make it quieter and that is just pointless2 points

I have a couple of wedges to tap into the split in the yokes. Couple of screwdrivers will work as good.2 points

I can still remember Steve Neville at the TRF AGM talking about using the internet and emails for contacting and recruiting members, he was laughed at, comments like, "Hardly anyone has a computer", were thrown about. He mentioned internet cafes (do they still exist?) and they rolled up like he was making it all up.2 points

I know the Nurburgring properly, in a slow car. The level of track knowledge it takes to do those speeds with the control they process on such a long and varied track is nothing but awesome. It takes repetition and obsessive learning, it obviously takes balls but from the brain it’s a lot more training and learning than being mental.1 point

Most on here could benefit from a few pots of these, and all of the flouncers. Bucky needs them mostly after hitching a bloody trailer to his monstrosity1 point

You need a chain conversion once you are north of those figures, lots of tuning goes on. Your bike is designed to be tuned but1 point

Many year ago I had a Kawasaki GPZ305, that was belt drive, the belt snapped while out on a ride, luckily near to home when it did. Ŵent and ordered a new belt, when they told me the price I almost passed out. £150, and that was around 1980, so I converted it to chain drive, shortly before it devoured its camshafts.1 point

Devastated more like, offered to put me touch with a dodgy dude for a Spanish passport. Although that could be to ensure I'm caught and permanently deported1 point

They certainly didn’t smell like they washed too often and I wouldn’t mind one bit if they tried a mint rather than the rancid coffee they whiff of1 point

I prefer to talk about bikes with someone who actually knows about the bike, you know, get the info you want about the bike you want to buy. You can keep your wank bank stocked up with internet images like everyone else. For the record most of the men I've bought bikes from are ugly old munters with tits down to their knees1 point

Ducati is one brand I definitely won't be buying. They had a really strong sales team made up of women who actually rode and rode well so you could wander over at a bike festival and they knew about bikes. It was refreshing because mostly with bikes it's bimbos hired in who know nothing about the product. They were such an impressive outfit they had a group photo in the adventure biker gallery at ABR with all the other A list off roaders pics. I asked my nice looking friend who's mainly a Yoga instructor (so she's also slim and fit) why she wasn't with Ducati anymore, she replied I'm too old for them. They got rid of all of us. Some head honcho came over from Italy and replaced them all with young airheads. Apparently that's more in keeping with the Ducati image. An image they can shove where the sun doesn't shine.
