Had a test ride on the Triumph Speed twin this morning ... as @boboneleg said i was expecting to be underwhelmed by it... well i was'nt to be honest , pulled away on it gave it a handfull and the fucker took off, i was pleasantly surprised... fueling much better than the Ducati and the Suzuki come to that.. through the few twistys i found on test ride it was great, i like this bike. so the Ducati and suzuki can do one ... i got back and put a deposit down on the triumph , a black one ... having a tail tidy and Zard exhaust system fitted with de cat .. sounds the nuts, should have it in a couple of weeks5 points

Rubbing his nose in it with your expensive new bike as well while he is wondering if he is going to have to sell his daughter as a camel jockey.5 points

I have all the special tools. Dealer would charge £500 plus I imagine. All I plan on replacing are the inner and outer gaskets and the stretch bolts and the tensioner shoe. Unless I find anything I feel the need to do.4 points

It’s that time again, get those pictures submitted for bike of the month, so for everyone except for @Six30 here are the rules. 1. One picture entry per person, no posting multiple pictures, once you have entered a picture that is the one you will be stuck with. 2. Picture must have been taken in June, outside, away from home. 3. Overtly photoshopped pictures will result in a ban for the month. 4. Multiple pictures on this thread of the same bike will result in a ban, there is a discussion thread in the gallery if you are needy and want other people to tell you if your picture is crap. 5. Picture must be in landscape format (for @Marcel that means the big measurement is along the bottom of the picture and the smaller measurement is up the side). Good resolution is required as well so no screenshots. 7. The bike must be currently owned by you. Moderator decisions are final. You missed the fact that there is no rule 6. This submissions thread will be open from now until 9pm on Wednesday 28th, at which point the voting thread will open! Voting then takes place over two days with the Poll closing 7pm on Friday 30th. Special rules for @Six30 1. You are gagging for July. 2. Your a twat. 3. Put that away!2 points

The range is about 100-110 miles/tank. It is a pain in the arse, but I’m not touring so it’s a minor pain. …but I was riding with a guy who had a beautiful Ducati Panigale yesterday, his range was even less … and no fuel gauge…2 points

Sorting out our 2022 Rentas (tax liabilities) with the accountant today. I received less than €12K so I pay no tax on my income, and we should get between €1200-€1500 rebate back from overpayment on the wife's taxes on the business.2 points

I know the Nurburgring properly, in a slow car. The level of track knowledge it takes to do those speeds with the control they process on such a long and varied track is nothing but awesome. It takes repetition and obsessive learning, it obviously takes balls but from the brain it’s a lot more training and learning than being mental.2 points
