Home at last. Boy looks mostly recovered but we were discharged 4 hours before he was due on his first day at Dominoes Pizza. Since bank of mum and dad tightened the purse strings he has a new perspective on money and how far it doesn't go so there was no way he was going to miss out on this job. He has just left for his first shift jacked on enough steroids to make Speedy Gonzales look sluggish, he has a normal speed of between an old fashioned 'ants in his pants' right up to 'wtf on the spectrum' level of energy. If they can cope with him on steroids then he may have found his lifelong job5 points

Then it was over to Limehouse Basin. pedestrian swing bridge over the lock Thames from Limehouse Lock Another swing bridge for Narrow Street. Anyone who has watched the film Sparrows Can's Sing with Barbara Windsor may remember when she gets stranded with a baby in a pram on an open swing Bridge, this is the one. Walked back via Rotherhithe Tunnel. The tunnelling shield used to dig it now forms the height restrictor.4 points

Today I had to attend the compulsory Staff Conference and Staff Awards 2023 event at an old 1930 cinema in Limehouse. It was a grim as it sounds, a huge crowd and only one tea urn meant nothing to drink for a few hours and once I realised they had no record of who had and hadn't attended, I slipped out at the end of the first break and had a wander around Limehouse. Ladies and gentlemen I give you first of all, the real Albert Square from Eastenders, or the bit the Germans missed as I like to think of it...4 points

As you probably know my lifelong hero has been Jarno Saarinen who was killed in the Monza carnage in May 1973. Well one of my clients recently started going out with a young lady from Finland and he told me he was going there to meet her family last week. And by an amazing coincidence she was from Turku......Jarno's hometown. I told him all about Jarno cos hes not a biker (his girlfriend knew all about him cos he's a legend in Finland), and I suggested he should visit the memorial that's there. And this is the result! I've wanted to visit there for so long......maybe one day!3 points

Had a good run on the dog today, dressed for the rain but i left after it stopped so sweated my nuts off all day and minutes after i got home it hammered down again so missed it all Only a few photos as it was too awkward getting the camera out with all my gear on, good start to the day the first lane had a small tree down i had to remove, it was easier doing that then turning the bike around Cleared and the start of my temperature rising Not many like this today Doesn't seam like anyone is riding these lanes at the moment their well overgrown This was horrible to ride deep 4x4 tracks either side of a slippery center rut, most of the track was covered in vegetation so you couldn't see what was underneath Further on i had to get out of the 4x4 rut, as i struggled to pull the lump out i thought @XTreme is going to love it if i give myself a hernia here lol Stopped to cool off before heading home3 points

Normally all of that is adjustable. You should have a swing setting (oo er misses) and be able to set it straight ahead, that should fix things, assuming they are near the ceiling and the price tag didn't effect the fitting Plus the fan strength is adjustable which takes the icey edge off things. Generally I've found having the aircon close the actual temp you're already acclimatised to the perfect balance. Before I left I found 26 degrees a bit chilly3 points

A wander around St Dunstans churchyard. Home of some of the bells from the nursery rhyme Oranges and Lemons. I might try and get pictures of all the ones mentioned. Oranges and lemons, Say the bells of St. Clement's. You owe me five farthings, Say the bells of St. Martin's. When will you pay me? Say the bells of Old Bailey. When I grow rich, Say the bells of Shoreditch. When will that be? Say the bells of Stepney. I do not know, Says the great bell of Bow. Here comes a candle to light you to bed, And here comes a chopper to chop off your head! NO IDEA SO DON'T ASK This is Stepney High Street just outside the church. Still looks like the country lane it used to be.3 points

Yes.....I know about the fan setting. But the floor fan is directed towards me, the PC and the monitor so it moves the hot air away from where I'm sitting.2 points

You do know you can set a temperature and it will keep the room at that temperature by switching on and off when needed. The fan will probably run all the time and the cooling part will switch on and off.2 points

It's an allergic reaction to something but can't pinpoint anything in particular which is frustrating. At least it was treated before turning into a full blown anaphylaxis. They were very on the ball. I think they've had some experience on the allergy front since we were last here!2 points
