haing had the bike ot of action for 10 dqys qnd then a dose of covid hqving me " persona non grata" in my own bloody house. I pissed off for a ride today. 400 odd km over about 6 hours or so, they'd been harping on about the Champagne grape harvest starting today so I thought I'd go have a look, well I saw absolutely no grape harvesting going on AT ALL. In fact I saw almost no one at all, the whole time i was out... brilliant It wasn't untill I was nearly home that i realised the camera had been used last by daughter No2b and she'd obviously been smearing he fingerprints all ove the f'kin lens, so the photos are shit. This is at Romilly sur Seine, and was the first tank into Paris with the Leclerc 8th armoured division and the FFI on 24th August 1944. I stopped for Lunch at Epernay, cut across east and south to Vitre le Francois where I fuelled up and had a quick chat with a bloke on a Honda CBX, he's had it from new, bought it 26th August 1980... it was pretty clean, but obviously ridden. Legendary machine. Champage? Here y'are, Pick yer own... weather got muggy as the afternoon wore on and temps up into the 30's so I had a lot of rehydration pauses, in the shade.7 points

Well all the females in the family were off to some Gymkhana today and I had planned to do next to nothing so I rolled out of bed late at 8:30 and had a look on my phone. There was a message from last night saying if you want to ride up to Kitt Hill for breakfast meet us at 4Turnings garage at 9:00am. Panic stations as Louis at Kitt Hill do a Killer breakfast. Shit, dressed, teeth and I made it with 5 mins to spare. I met up with two mates one on a 1986 BMW R100 and the other with a 1973 Triumph Bonnie. They gave a lovely sound track up to Kitt Hill, 30 miles or so. When we got there it was the start of a Classic Bike meet which was a complete surprise to us. We got our breakfast orders in sharpish then sat and watched the bikes arrive. It soon got much busier I loved the cam gear window on this Duc Can you spot what’s odd about this lovely old R100C ? I loved this old Sunbeam. The guy riding it was just as old and scruffy. Cool dude though. Spot the ignition switch on this Cotton. I am guessing there must have been 100 bikes or much, lots of modern Triumphs, Harleys and Sports Bikes but I only photographed what I was interested in. Afterwards my mate on the R100 had to go home to let the dog out, single guy. My mate with Triumph suggested that we go up to Dartmoor for a ride. It is stunning up there and of course I never thought to photograph any of it. We did stop in Princetown for a coffee overlooking the Prison. Actually, although it sounds grim with the Prison and all, Princetown is a very nice little town. We then headed up across the moor to Chagford turned around and did a sort of X shape across the moor and back. Great day and not planned at all but lots of fun. Couple of moments when my mates Bonnie didn’t want to start but with some swearing and a few kicks it came back to life. Of course I took the piss with my reliable Honda. It’s always the unplanned trips that are the best. Now off to apply more after sun to me head.6 points

So today I went for a walk with Paolo, nothing excting only a couple of miles. The river had been up at least 6 foot as there were chalky silt deposits all along the banks, luckily we stuck to the parts where the path was tarmaced. Anyway, my back feels better now, I reckon the walking has loosened it up. Next stage is to try to ride into work on Monday on one of the bikes5 points

OK @boboneleg @Sir Fallsalot @Catteeclan @yen_powell In the vid you see David Byron and Ken Hensley lip syncing the vocals. Byron did actually sing his part, but Ken Hensley didn't sing his! The story behind it is that Byron couldn't sing that particular section......it wasn't within his vocal range. Hensley couldn't do it either. So they got Mark Clarke from Colosseum in to do it! And the irony is that Mark Clarke wasn't even the lead singer of Colosseum!3 points

Strange Day! we were supposed to have a storm and at 10AM it was absolutely black! But by 1PM it was bright blue skies and the sun was shining. So bearing in mind the grim forecast to come for the next week, I thought I'd better grab this chance to get out! Only out for an hour.......but it was better than being stuck in the house reading the mindless shit that you twats post! A Real Man's Motorcycle! In a Real Man's environment! With a Real Man's TopBox! Riding past the usual shit dwellings that Brits seem attracted to.... I know @Skippy wishes he'd bought one of these instead of that Tracer! I tried to zoom in a bit on these shots so @boboneleg and @Sir Fallsalot could see the tracks out there. Obviously if I had the right bike I'd be checking that shit out for sure! However, I don't......so I stayed on the tarmac! Because I know my limitations! So there you go, you can now moan about the bike, the top box, the tyres, and the music! But the reality is.......I'm actually out there doing it, while most of you can only talk about doing it. I'm here if anybody thinks they've got the cojones to hack riding with a man who's nearly 70......and also suffering from a Hernia. All within a bleak environment that takes no prisoners! But if you can't......that's OK! As I said, everybody needs to know their limitations! Tell 'em @Skippy!3 points

Around 15 is mine but happy to go out in a lot lower temperatures than that because i can always get warmer but until they bring out some affordable climate controlled clothing i can not get colder when i'm too hot. I actually prefer going places in the car in the summer because of the air con3 points

And then the CCTV monitor packed in so been out getting a new one and sorting that.2 points
