The correct way to do it would be direct from the fuse board so its on its own circuit and doesn't affect the rest of the house if there's a fault in the shed.5 points

You want to see my father in-laws shed. He went to town on it. He said he was going to build himself a little shed. It’s about 6000 square foot I kid you not. My MIL is urr how do I politely say a total cowbag? So in his ‘shed’ he has a warehouse heater, a sofa, a TV and a full sized kitchen along with his classic tractors and some vehicles he doesn’t drive but likes to look at. He even put in a road so it was too far away from everyone else for them to just pop in Wise man. I have my bikes, a sofa and a fridge in my garage and a room within it with a large workbench, underfloor heating, a kettle, nice chair where I faff about making bits n bobs. Time and space to yourself away from your loved ones is priceless. Go large @Saul, even if it’s just two cheap jobbies joined together. The trees were deliberately planted so it will eventually be hidden.5 points

A nice run out today......marred by a momentary lapse of concentration causing me to drop it! A few pics.......before the disaster! After that......there's no more pics! Cos I stopped further down the road to get a few shots of the river.......and I dropped my fucking PHONE! Screen was fine but the impact seems to have cracked the camera lenses on the back......so everything is now blurred! Still......I've had it for over 3 years and it runs 24/7/365.......so it was probably time to change it anyway. Ironically, the timing was perfect because I get the Quadlock Universal adapter on Tuesday, and I would have stuck it on the case for this phone! So if you came here expecting to find something else had been dropped, then you're out of luck I'm afraid! But if that's your thing, then we do have a member here who specialises in fuckups incidents of that nature!5 points

Top day yesterday, absolutely great museum and amazingly beautiful bit of Dartmoor hills with poneys. Loved it, now in a pub’s tiny room waiting for tomorrow to come and catch a boat to Spain. You have some really beautiful areas in this island but pretty shitty data connection so not able to post photos today.5 points

It seems to be kind of both ways, proved by watching water in a glass. It’s getting pretty rough now, too. We shall overcome!4 points

To be fair, it would’ve been a little bit more comfortable, but that bike of mine goes well, handles well, and it’s not uncomfortable, even after a 370 km round-trip. I also wish I was married to Julia Roberts, but that ain’t going to happen either!4 points

I’d take a 90/10 split to fight him … first punch he threw I wound collapse in a heap and signal to @XTreme who would be my corner man to throw the towel in sharpish .4 points

Yes rule of thumb with garages and sheds is think of a size that's big enough and then double it3 points

I see someone’s been overdosing on the charm pills again I’d go bigger, run electricity to it and put a dehumidifier in there.. and a heater and sofa and a beer fridge and a tv. You’ve waited too long to go half measures on it.3 points

I bought my metal shed (10ftx8ft) (i actually wanted a 8ftx10ft)from Argos, it was 10 years ago though, back then it was £200, it still looks as good as new, inside and out. I was a bit worried about condensation in the colder months as I heard they are prone to it. Mine is on a wooden base with is 4 inch above ground level, and it has a wooden floor, I do get a little condensation in the winter months. The sliding doors are a joke, a 5 year old kid could force their way through them, so nowdays I reverse park my car right up to the doors. I too wanted a wooden shed before I bought the steel one, but as you say the cost for a shed, even back then it was a stupid high price.3 points

Not much to disagree with there. I think Billie and Sincs are a waste of space, if they can't shine and dominate against Chile what chance have they against tier one opposition. Also time to look past Faz. But Borthers won't and England will lose.3 points
