That's the problem with drinking Red Bull as a mixer, you get to stay awake for the whole hangover. Done it before, never again.7 points

I‘m not proud to say it but many years ago while away on a bike trip to Lloret de Mar we all started drinking pints of vodka, tequila and Red Bull for the equivalent of £1 a pint. The results were horrendous and even when the hangover went the next afternoon I was still buzzing. NEVER, EVER AGAIN.7 points

That's where you fucked up Bob you should only mix it with Jagermeister i had to stop drinking it because the last time i was at the Bruce Polard rally tanked up on jager's i was laying in bed with my heart beating like a humming birds and it cost me the last three dragon rally's i didn't attend6 points

That’s because you take it out after every ride, wash and polish it, wrap it in cotton wool and kiss it goodnight. I bet you put it right next to your cosseted downpipes.5 points

That was high tide so unless the wind takes off that should be it. It is quite common to get water through the street so everywhere can deal with it. Not the drama you might think.4 points

Well, if one bike has always had sharp lines since forever a Katana would be it.4 points

It does but I guess because it is the Legendary home of Tristan and Isolde/Iseult. Prolly fairy tales but it is that place. The road sign says Castledore, but like a lot of place names it was changed to sound less foreign. There is a stone with an ancient inscription on it telling the tail of Tristan and Isolde/Iseult less than a mile from where I live. It was moved from Castle D'or a long time ago, it was once in the centre of 4Turnings roundabout but they decided having a bloody great granite pillar in the centre of a mini roundabout was dangerous thing in the 1950's. I'll take some pictures if anyone is the slightest bit interested. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tristan_and_Iseult4 points

Every time I’ve been to Cornwall and rented a place that’s been the way round it’s been, bedrooms downstairs. I like that, probably a simple animal thing to burrow down to sleep4 points

I don't know why I watch her as she is pretty annoying, but anyway she is currently off to the Arctic circle on her CB500X. Do yourselves a favour and skip to about 7 minutes 10 seconds, juvenile but I nearly pissed myself laughing at her misfortune.3 points

I have used them 3 times, once on the car and twice on scoot/bikes, very quick delivery and a good price too. I did go to County Batteries for a battery recently (daughters car) but they charge top whack prices.3 points

I’ve had the most annoying ear worm for the last few days, can’t quite believe it because I never watched the programme. The theme tune for The Golden Girls!!! Wouldn’t mind quite so much if I knew more than two feckin lines Thankyou for being a friend, travelled down the road and back again3 points

Supac are really good, I've used them for years for my mobility business and replacing my bike batteries when needed.2 points

Sometimes when I wake up but mostly when I'm working. Prob when I'm doing something routine giving the mind time to wander. I'll have to try and rain it in a bit if it wants to go too far.2 points

Made it home today. Yesterday we had a lovely evening back in Portugal, and today rode to my parent’s place using mostly small roads. The absence of cameras was a shock, but we got used to it. I hope there were no cameras, too. I will look at making a ride report but I’ve got hundreds of pictures, mostly from bikes in museums, so it may take a while. Good trip, though, and we did end in a high which is always great because it dictates the mood with which you look back on it.2 points

Every now and then when it’s just me to consider I relish not bothering to sort things out “I’ll just wing it” I think. Sorted Mr Slowly’s route and accommodation from Santander to Salobreña for this October at the beginning of July. Nice route and stopovers too. Have I bothered for myself? Nope. “86% of properties in the area you’re searching are unavailable” “92% of properties in the area you’re searching are unavailable” etc, etc. I may have to pack a wheelie bin to sleep in. Reckon I could fit one across the back of the Himmy1 point
