Another early start to look after my old man has lead to another posh coffee. Sitting there enjoying my skinny latte capuchin monstrosity when some bloke in an enormous 4x4 tries to reverse into one of the parking slots outside but his wank wagon is too long and wide so he takes up two spaces and ends up having to reverse up onto the pavement to stop the front hanging out into the busy high street. If that wasn’t funny enough some old dear with a tartan shopping bag on wheels rips right into him and tells him he’s “an ignorant, selfish boy” and that he should move it. The bloke must be in his forties but he is so embarrassed he gets back in and drives off! No posh coffee for you matey.7 points

Had good ride on the Italian supermodel today she went out a virgin and came back a filthy whore even my mate had a go on her The suspension is far better than the stock 2022 bike, it feels the same as the old bike but after i changed the springs so hopefully i wont need to change them on this one, the seat yes the seat, all i can say is if it don't soften up i can see a seat concepts in its place it was like sitting on a concrete block. Overall i'm very pleased with the bike first oil change done at 2.5 hours next is at 30 hours but will probably change it at 15 hours and go to 30 after that Only two photos taken in the same place to busy enjoying the ride to take anymore. Forgot to say balls still intact LOL6 points

Staying at a mates place in Sunningdale for a couple of nights while him and his missus go to their apartment on Lake Como. Long story short is that his wife booked a surprise flight for them to go away for a week but he forgot to tell her I was coming over so now I’ve got the run of a very swanky house that’s filled with toys, food and booze; Jaguar E-Pace Triumph Bobber Honda VFR400 ………and a hoofing eMBT that I took out for an hour this afternoon across Chobham Common. Holy crap I NEED one of these. Oh, and their cute dog that loves beer and rugby. One of their daughters dropped her off for tonight as she’s going out. If they’re neighbours clock me they’ll call the police and report a burglary in progress!6 points

Where is she ? we've got no one to put us down now. It's free reign boys (and girls) , you can post all the usual stuff now without risk of being called a Dinosaur (or worse )3 points

At the risk of sounding like a parrot because I've said this to you before LOL Yes that's why i traded the 2022 bike in as i hadn't done any of the scheduled maintenance other than oil changes. 3 hours is the first service which is the equivalent to your road bikes 500 mile service, its to get rid of any manufacturing and assembly debris in the gearbox. On the 2022 bike i thought i was draining glitter out of the gearbox this one not so much, Oil changes are a doddle to do only takes about 10 minutes and only 800ml of oil so cheap and no filter to change.3 points

It's probably 25 years since I walked through there. When I was 15 I used to cycle down there and fish the river so some good memories of the area.3 points

It’s normally driver and Clinician. So me and a Nurse practitioner or Advanced Paramedic or occasionally a Doctor. We do carry a fair bit of kit, 3 drawers of drugs, a smallish tin of Controlled Drugs (in a mobile safe), emergency bag, Defibrillator, Nebuliser and two bottles of Oxygen. Plus loads of PPE, first aid kit , catheters and some tools. All housed in a bespoke rack system. There isn’t a lot of room for anything else but we can carry 4 people if needed. There is other bits and bobs but I won’t bore you, it is a load of heavy kit though and we run the highest pressures recommend on the tyres to cope with it. It’s my job to look after all that inventory keeping it in date and fully stocked. I find it all pretty interesting to be honest. Our service only does two classifications of call, urgent and routine. First one has a 2 hour response window and the second 6 hours. So the car is always running to keep everything charged, the windows clear and control the temperature inside the car. We are not allowed to break any traffic laws. No hard starts at all. In fact I am pretty popular with the clinicians as I drive smoothly and that helps them doze off between visits. If I was to tear about that wouldn’t be the case. And some drivers do. Kernow Health (my employer) did test 1.5 petrol cars but ended up going for 2.0 diesel’s. Mostly for economy I understand. I like this new Kodiac but I feel the Octavia Scouts we had were better suited to the task. I suppose once I get used to the Kodiac my opinion will change. Kernow Health also runs falls cars and patient transfer, non emergency, ambulances. Basically our services fill the gap between emergency services and general practice. We are mostly creatures of the night .3 points

Daughter's on her way home and no doubt the first stop will be market chips. F1 with the bonus of a Saturday sprint race this weekend, no plans other than that.3 points

Probably many that were even younger Bob, can’t imagine the current crop of youngsters having the same resolve and sense of duty. Times change I guess.3 points

Problem is the secret is out and they command a premium used. My Mrs wants a Yeti to replace her X3, fuck me do they hold their money well. Better off looking at a Seat, same running gear different frock, less money. I have driven lots of miles in Skodas though and do like them, wouldn't swop my Compact for one but I have an attachment to that car.2 points

You would be surprised how many cars we looked at and rejected before they decided on the Kodiac. Yeah most were diesels but not exclusively. Devon Doc our counterparts went for hybrid Hondas and had no end of breakdowns, but that was more to do with stupid penny pinching SOP's as far as I know. Pedro did ask that's why I went on about the Kodiac in detail.2 points

Paolo and I decided to have a walk by the river Frome today, this entailed a short journey in the car and then we were ready to go. We parked by the bridge at Frenchay ................ Fed the ducks from the bridge .............. and then we were off......................... It was a bit of a rough path in places but very enjoyable , lots of dog walkers out and a few very fit people running and splashing through the muddy bits2 points

Been working on the Beta since i got home from work, took it out on it's maiden voyage about 21:00 to check everything works, found it had no tick over had to go back to the house for a screwdriver to adjust it as i only took an allen key to adjust the spot lights. Seems much taller than the last one and the stock suspension is a lot firmer might soften up with a few hours on it. Still got a bit to do to it but It's ready for a dirt run tomorrow for a couple of hours first oil change is at 3 hours but after seeing what came out of the gearbox on the last bike i will be changing it earlier than that. Not sure what i'm doing on Sunday yet.2 points

Well err yer n nooo So far Pete has demonstrated he's a keen follower and instigator of anything involving filth, particularly sodomy and this appears to be mostly (but not entirely ) a content producing move. He doesn't make regular reference to anything that doesn't boost the numbers (tech pro ), doesn't hound gay forum members and doesn't have pics of buff men wrapped in clingfilm on his camera roll. All that shits fine by me but you know.. just sayin'2 points
