The Chinese will now know all about your plans for the future. Might as well start sending a regular cheque to the Party.6 points

I was singing in the Church at Lostwithiel last night and got there a bit early. Parking is always a pain there. Anyway the light was interesting so I walked around the town and took a few photos. Ancient town that houses the Stannery Parliament. Just up river from where I live. Pretty place Love this old hairdressers that has hardly changed since the 1960’s5 points

So today was the day to get the little Yamaha out on the lanes so I planned a route for me and my mate Gaz (who lives in Redditch) to meet near Cirencester and do a loop of about 80 miles . The then anti was upped as Big Tone decided to join us on his brand new Gas Gas 700ES. I set off about 08.30 and made my way up to Badminton via the A46 and then some back roads.............. We were meeting at the AV8 cafe at Kemble airfield, it was definitely open this time as @Sir Fallsalot wasn't coming ............ and after a coffee and a sausage baguette we were off. We rode down the Fosseway and Gaz braved the ford while we watched .......... and on we went down as far south as Castle Coombe race circuit where we than turned east but with a stop for coffee from our flasks ........... Once we got to Startley we stopped pay our respects at the RAF memorial .............. Onwards through more lanes coverd in shit and puddles until we got to Fairford. We stopped in athe fuel station there for a lunch a la @Earache (where the hell is he ?) ............ After lunch we went North but Gaz got a puncture on the first lane of the afternoon................... Once it was sorted we carried on but spent most of the afternoon dodging showers . There were still some nice lanes though despite the soggy conditions.............. Once we got to the A429 Gaz headed off north to get back home while me and Tone dodged showers going south. The little Yamaha peformed faultlessly, I'm very happy with it. I just need to see if there is any adjustment on the rear shock but everything else was fine5 points

Perhaps a slightly longer stroke engine for better low revs torque? Third gear will pull from about 10mph to about 90mph, but it doesn’t pull very hard until about 4k rpm. Keep it above 4k and there’s plenty of torque and power.2 points

Just getting used to this new phone cos it's a later version of Android. One thing was annoying me though......every time I hit the side button to shut down, I'd get a popup saying the Google Assistant is ready to help me. So I did a search and found that others had the same problem. One guy was in a real bad way because of it! "Google Assistant is Turned OFF. I don't want to turn it on. Problem: When I hold the play button on my headphones, google assistant creates a notification showing how to turn itself on. If I ignore this prompt and later on press and hold the play button again Google Assistant Suggests (with a voice) that when it is safe, I should turn on Google Assistant. I don't want google assistant to do anything when I press and hold the play button. It is giving me cancer and I want to kill myself when I hear it." What you reckon @zzzak?2 points

Yes out of season and 6:30pm on a Saturday night, Lovely. We had a decent audience as it was a badly timed concert. There was a big 3 choir concert 6 miles up the road one way at St Neot and Mevagissey shanty festival 10 miles the other. Our choir was down on numbers as singers were elsewhere but we had a decent balance and sounded pretty good. The Losty vicar was a funny individual as well, tiny woman spouting Cornish Nationalist views and pretty foul mouthed in the club afterwards. I liked her. Good night.2 points

I had a Bagster tank cover and tank bag on my BMW R100R back in the day and thought it was very good. Fast forward several years I bought one for my CB500. Only used the tank bag a few times. But I was pleased to have the tank covered and protected or so I though. Anyway to the point, I was taking my stuff off the CB today to trade it in next week. Turns out Matt paint doesn’t go well with tank covers. The cover has marked the paint in several places. Be aware.1 point

Even if you rub your trousers or your jacket repeatedly on the same spot will polish out the matte finishing on most paints. These paintworks are quite delicate.1 point

Have to agree with val he's very underrated. Tighthead is always the sticking point and I cant really pick a Tighthead off the top of my head that fits the bill1 point
-
Loose head would have to be Val Repava Ruskin for me, tight head is more of a problem. Cole aint making the next RWC, he is 36 now. Awesome in his day, still a competent scrummager but he is missing in the loose play. Marler is still a tacking machine and very good in the scrum.1 point

Don't get me wrong I love Marler and Dan Cole but they are both getting long in the tooth. Both great props in the Premiership but the World game has moved on.1 point

I loved the first season, second was ok, the third was just to weird and incredulous for me.1 point

I can't see England making the final. Post RWC there needs to be a big clear out, to much dead wood for me. I would bin Billie, Sincs, Dan Cole, Ben Youngs, Jonny May, Manu. Also have big question marks over Faz, Marler, Will Stuwart, Danny Care. They need to build a fresh team, plenty of talent left at home. But Borthers won't so England are heading for more years of mediocrity. Now if they go on and win the RWC and prove I know fuck all about it1 point

Without a doubt, we need to find that something extra and he needs to put farrell out to pasture he doesn't have that edge anymore1 point

If we play like that against France or South Africa, I can’t see us winning. Nearly threw it away, but I think on balance we just about deserved it.1 point

It's not so much obsessed with who the ref is but there are certain refs who are known to be blind depending on who is playing, especially if it is England, the last world cup between England and New Zealand in one bit of play lawes had his toe nail off side at a ruck and was pinged up yet in the proceeding phases I counted 11 penalty offences yet the ref only counted 2. So I think I have every right to be dubious about refs and what they do and don't see. Not to mention the bunker review bod who seems to have gone quiet during the last few games. I still stand by that curry red card was nothing but blatant let's try to fuck up the England teams hopes seen as there have been countless pretty identical tackles that only ended in a yellow or purely went without citation in some way. Also do you not remember the episode with a certain French ref during a Wales vs England 6N game where he told farrell to talk to the team then no sooner than he called all the players in he said time was back on and Wales scored an unobstructed try from a kick. Now tell me im obsessed1 point
