He never does fuck all anyway. His racing career consisted of just one track day..... and the only thing he achieved was getting lapped on the warm up lap.4 points

He won’t be allowed to do fuck all now he’s got another sprog on the way4 points

Hear this @Sir Fallsalot.......he reckons you won't shake him off when you're off-road? We need @boboneleg following behind him with a GoPro so we can all enjoy the carnage!4 points

Got out today to try my new seat out ended up the same place as last weekend but with much more time to play with so rode most of the lanes in the area, spent over five hours riding and cannot believe how much difference there is between the stock seat and the seat concepts one, I got home with no monkey butt whatsoever, only regret is i should have gone for the standard height seat instead of the low one there's about 25mm difference between them, the low one is ultra comfy so the standard height one must be like an armchair. Almost every lane had water running along them took some photos of the best of them. The heavens opened in the afternoon but it didn't matter as i was on my way home and everything was soaking anyway. The low sun flickering through the trees and glaring off the water on the roads and trails made riding difficult in places as i couldn't see where i was going, Thoroughly enjoying the new bike even though its the same it rides different just seems easier to ride. Some wet photos of the day. looking down to where i am in the photo above And this is why i have such a heavy pipe guard gave it a hell of a donk on a rock, pipe would have needed blowing out it it wasn't fitted for sure This was last weekends outing but the same lane ridden today, made sure i missed the rock today3 points

What with storm Ciara and then Domingo the atlantic depressions and the shitty weather they generate here, despite being 500 kilo;eters inland fro; the atlantic, were causing my own minin depression so I said " merde!" to it and profiting from an easing of the wind and rain, geared up and went for ride. I actually managed to dodge most of the rain, though not al of it, and rode on either bone dry windswept roads or half flooded windswept roads having arrived after the deluge. In fact, it was all so windswept that I have a windswept hair look INSIDE my helmet... I managed to do 140 ish km mostly around the backroads. I took a couple of pics while it wasn't raining. 12 century North gate in Joigny2 points

I've got no illusions that if you both just went for it you'd lose me but I pick things up relatively quickly so I think I could hold my own2 points

I suppose he'll just have to settle for coming over here and showing me how it's done Bob!2 points

Remember I'm not some unfit old codger, I've no bother with riding offroad... yes I've never been off road apart from mountain biking when I was younger and I wasn't bad at it so I have an idea of what I'm doing. As said if Bob or Fred would be willing to lend me one of their spares I'd gladly take them up on the offer. I unlike you don't shy away from water2 points

I like the Viper, comfy with built in coms. Bit noisy for any sort of fast travelling but ok for local stuff.1 point

No offence but Fred would probably lose you by the third lane, for me it would probably take five lanes Being fit means nothing if you can't read the ground/conditions and that only comes with experience.1 point

I stand corrected.....the Bison farm and shop are still in business. https://www.bisons.org/1 point

We had a place that reared Bison about 25 miles away, that sold their meat for human consumption, but it went bust about 20 years ago. Not much chance of getting Moose meat in the UK now.1 point

Yeh..Deer meat, I don't like Duck either, game meat a bit to strong for my delicate palette1 point

That is a very big possibility, I always use the auto release with the handbrake and I'm going to bet that it's slightly on the sticky side and doesn't quite release the brakes properly so they could well be on ever so slightly without me realising, if so then a 4 way caliper rebuild would be on the way to make sure they are working properly1 point
