  2. Take one heavy bike with enormous amounts of power and add one very hot summer day in July. Surround you and the bike with a hoard of ‘track-day heroes’ all on appropriately lighter bikes with absolutely no awareness of their own mortality. I sat out the last session as I had to ride it home afterwards with my missus on the back and I was knackered. Yep, it was hard enough.

  3. I've been a Mewp operator again this week fitting lighting around the inlet works control room at Nash WwTW ready for a big temporary overhaul, we priced to do it properly about 5 years ago but they said they had no cash so now they are going to spend hundreds of thousands making it work temporary so it can all be replaced in 3 to 5 years time, fucking cocks The Mewp could have extended another 8 meters more than where i was in this photo but i was already bricking it at this height with the wind blowing it about Its a big shit works

  4. I am? No I don't think I am ignorant of the truth, harleys are nothing but bad handling, slow and only ridden by people who either can't ride a proper bike because they mistakenly believe a harley is a real bike or are American hillbilly weirdos who like marrying their own close family members and wearing assless chaps looking for others to partake in their deviant activities

  9. I'm guessing it get worse in winter. The warmer inside with out ventilation will cause more damp. Tis a bugger. We had some new windows this year and noticed more condensation.

  11. I installed it a while ago before the UK trip, it’s got 2 more plates than stock and after inspection it’s clearly better made with a lot less localized pressure points. I am having an issue with the clutch never being 100% actuated, always some kind of drag that makes clunky shifts and unpleasant low speed shifting. We took it off to check the gearbox for some play in the primary shaft, all is ok and fine, assembled it with love and let’s see how it is when I go. Will leave the shop and ride 300km to Sofia. Also am putting less gay tires back on.

  19. My favourite type of bike (not make) is something like the Chinky I had, full fairing, not too heavy, not a huge engine for cheaper and easier maintenance, and a bit of storage.

  25. Sounds like it needs a bit more ventilation in there, Clive. The only house that I didn't get condensation in was the first house I bought when I moved to Cambridgeshire, but that was only because I got double-glazing with Pilkington K-glass put in. At the time it was pretty expensive, but I think that it worked pretty well. Our last house in the UK was really bad for condensation, even though it was cavity wall insulated and uPVC double-glazed. We couldn’t use the built-in wardrobe in our bedroom, as all the clothes went moldy in there!

  27. How about a dehumidifier? Works wonders for mould and they’re very low on electrical consumption.

  28. Every night, and has been for the past month or so, all the windows are streaming in the morning, puddles on the window sills, we open the windows a little during the day to get some through ventilation, but too cool after dark to leave them open, the Karcher window vac is working overtime each morning.

  36. Weird fucking day, got a phone call this morning telling me my other uncle has sepsis which it doesn't look like he will recover from. Dangerous time of year for my male relatives. On a positive My Boy, who is 19 with several issues, as a result of his past and other stuff started his 3rd day on his McJob, which he likes. Doesn't sound much but believe me for us it's huge, to think he can and probably will become a positive member of society and finally make a life for himself. Something that has been in doubt for years. Been playing bikes to cheer myself up, been a roller coaster of a day.
