  1. This was the first ever Bike Rally in Baza.....so I thought I'd check it out. Now I'm not a big fan of stuff like this! These sorts of events always seem to me to be a place for people who desperately want to belong. And there's nothing to see that you couldn't see in any bike shop. Basically I'd rather be riding my bike than just hanging round and talking. The usual lacklustre Dago organisational skills were immediately apparent, with people being allowed to park wherever they wanted. Consequently there was only one narrow lane in and out......made worse by the stupid fuckers standing in it and talking to each other. And then making no attempt to get out of the way. Complete nightmare to get in and out......and by later this afternoon it'll probably be totally blocked. FFS! Here's a short clip of the disorganised mess..... Here's a few shots taken outside....the CB turned a lot of heads! Away! An assortment of different stuff..... Some silly cunt wasted his money on a Chinky..... Went inside and ran into Jonathan from Juan Cortes.....he gave me a freebie as well! A Balaclava! I thanked him for it obviously........but when have you ever known me to ride in weather that's cold enough for a Balaclava? The wife reckons she can use it for when she feeds the horses in really bad weather. So it's not a total waste. Couple of other dealers had small stands there.....but it wasn't exactly NEC levels of presentation. And then I ran into something that really impressed me! I could see myself on one of those actually. Then this caught my attention! The Rieju Aventura! With two fuel tanks it apparently has a range of 1000kms. In the past, Rieju used Yamaha engines.......unfortunately this thing has a Chinese one! Shot themselves in the foot there! And that was about it really! I then had to thread my way at walking pace through the fucking morons blocking the car park Mark my words, a few twats are going to fall over with their bikes today! This was the first ever Motorcycle Rally in Baza, and they really need to organise and promote it better for next year. What did surprise me today was the number of younger people up to 30 that were there. I'm used to seeing bike meet photos from the UK that are full of geriatrics......but this wasn't the case here! Maybe Spain has a higher percentage of younger riders than Britain has these days?

  12. Had another good run on the Beta today it was a 75 mile loop local to where i live, Last night there were eight riding but this morning two played their Xtreme cards and backed out because the ground was too wet another retired after twisting his knee on the first lane, we had only ridden a quarter of a mile from the start point LOL. So that left five of us all with similar bikes and skill level, it was very wet muddy and slippery with deep water in places the perfect conditions for interesting trail riding. We did have a few showers of rain but nothing torrential like we have been having, On the hill tops it was misty with strong gusts of wind making riding the ruts harder to stay upright than it normally is. There were no other incidents on the ride and everyone managed to stay upright all day but i did witness a few close ones much to my amusement. The ride was flowing nicely all day so no time for photos i will have to see if anyone else on the ride took any. The seat was still comfy and i arrived home with no monkey butt i'm still impressed with it but keep thinking of how comfy the standard height one must be and can see me changing it for one in the future. I hosed the bike off on the way home ready to change the oil. All ready for the next outing now.

  18. I can only ride one at a time and at 50,000 miles and not being ridden I thought it would be great if someone would bring her back to life. It hadn't moved since 2020 and was just wasting away.

  29. Search for a new job, accept it, and THEN you can feel good about telling your current boss off. Otherwise he’ll find a replacement in a couple of days and you’ll be the one in trouble.

  34. The blue one with the Dakar decor does look very nice in person. Only think lacking, to me, would be tubeless wheels. Edit: You should get one, the only way you would top the CB500 flack you get here would be by having a bike with a pink stripe on it
