2C when I set out this morning. There was ice on the car when I got my bike out of the garage. Took the non-ebike, as I'm trying to alternate them. The early part of the route was a bit of a struggle, as there is a reasonably long incline to where I took the photos. The rest of the route was OK, but I think that I should have checked the tyre pressures before I left home, because the bike seemed to be taking more effort than usual. I'll get fit, even if it kills me!

What I meant is that taking on Honda and Yamaha and KTM and Husqvarna on what is a 250 race bike coming from an unknown brand needs, it needs the engine to be faster and better than the others from stock or else there's no point. The engine on those BMW 450, as well as the X650 challenge bike were not good at all, were they? All I ever hear about them were serious design and manufacturing flaws. Plus, the 250 motocross class is what, the most demanding class for engines?

Funny you should say that....here's the ironic thing! Windows 10 will not run the default vid from the camera through it's default Media Player cos it needs HVEC codecs.......but I can't have them cos I need Windows 11. And my PC which is a HP Intel I3 and about 6 years old won't take Windows 11. However.....MovieMator video editor will run it to edit it, and the the edited clip will then run on Windows with no issues.

You'll notice a difference if you're watching it full screen on a TV......but for net viewing within a window I can't see much. But I need to do some comparison tests......and hopefully that will be tomorrow!

They wouldn’t have dared, it was a shit engine assembled poorly in the early days of chinese plants, it wouldn’t last one race stint. Motocross at high levels is brutal on engines, and 250 even more and every horsepower counts, that’s why I think Triumph rocks to even go for it.

It's normally a few degrees warmer here than there @Clive, but, if the wind is in a certain direction, it brings cold air down here from the snow fields on the Pyrénées, which chills things down a bit!
