Yesterday I dragged the bike out of the garage again my brilliant wife had a day off and the weather was cracking so I decided to go on a ride out with the group of ex pats that I have been out with a hundred times in the past , so I managed 310 km and boy I couldn't move this morning lol It had been a while since I had ridden the twisites around the Costa Blanca and I have to admit I had a bit of a boo boo my foot slipped off the brake pedal and I missed the corner went down and along a concrete drainage ditch nearly hit a concrete post I managed to just miss it and steer the bike back on to the road where I had to stop for a wee moment or two until my heart started working again.6 points

Just seen this on FB......the guy is a courier in London with a 2018 model (17" front wheel). What's been done to it? "Problems so far, just changed Clutch once, Fork seals once, and the stator last July because the Battery was not loading anymore. Fuel gauge misreading slightly." Apparently he's never even had the valves checked! But he does change the plugs once a year!5 points

During covid lockdown was the best time to be on the roads they were empty, probably the only time you would be able to get a speeding ticket in London LOL3 points

Much as I like biking 50k a year on a bike is a hard living. You would think it would almost be as practical doing it in a small van. Heater and radio3 points

Well looks like aI spoke to soon, as the battery died on Kermit. Not a genuine Apple battery I will say. So that triggered me and I had to sort it. £30 for a new one and so open heart surgery and all is good. I would have loved to fit a genuine Apple battery but they are just not available so had to go for another shonky chonky one, although to be fair the last one worked for 3 years so I am not to disappointed with it. See the puffy old battery that was blocking the track pad. Any way all good now and Kermit is happily charging and forced his way back into the fold2 points
