The costs of maintaining one of those are horrendous, good wines, food, rum, bmw motorcycles and travelling, plus they’re not the biggest fans of hard work. Trust me, they’re expensive to keep.4 points

I finished today and I will go in to work again on Weds 27th but as I only work 2/3 days a week it's no big deal.3 points

I hope you get paid extra for working those days Saul? I remember working at centre parcs back in the day we would fight to work the holidays cos christmas day and new years eve wer paid triple with bixing day and new years day paid double, though I expect that doesnt happen any more. I haven't booked any time off over the festive period cos we're not going anywhere except Lyon for the day on the Sunday 24th so I'll have sat, sun &monday off next weekend, then again the following wekend but that's all.3 points

I'm not sure they are looking for long term sales. Maybe some of them are, after all ts a fucking HUUUUGE place and mentalities obviously differ across such a vast country. We have maybe 2 or 3 of our suppliers who actually seem serious about improving quality and service, the rest... not so much. If I go back through the qualityreports sent to certain suppliers I will find identical reports about the same items going back 5 or more years related directly to the quality of build and of materiels used, with a similar reply " Oh we velly velly solly, that made by bad people in ploduction line, we fix plobrem, chop chop..!" ( if you don't find that offensively racist then you're probably over 50 ) and this has been going on for years, to the point that we struggle to find dealers for these machines cos most competant mechanics won't touch them. my boss reckons that another 4 or 5 years will see that particular supplier dissappear ( he's seen it before) and is already diminishing business with them so that we have as few machines as possible still under warranty when they do go pop. To be fair we have some prototupe machines from another supplier that ARE improved and do show signs of actually wanting to increase quality so just maybe...3 points

My cars are only fit for the scrapper after my ownership, I keep cars too long.....but if he bought mine I think this would be the advert for it. Low mileage, 2 careful owners, much sought after model.3 points

She'll lift......then I'' connect it and install W11. Interestingly, the PC I paid €499 for yesterday is now back up to €539. The GoPro is up by €100, and the phone is up by €50......so I got the timing just right!3 points

That is very possible with the heat.. If you want to find out which chip, click the apple in the top left hand corner of the screen, scroll down to About This Mac, should be the first option and it will tell you which chip, operating system and ram and other stuff. The M1 Macbook air came out in late 2020 so if yours predates that it will be intel and your wont have the potential 18 hour battery life. Should look something like this. Battery Medic doesn’t work well with the M1 but it is still accurate for battery life and my Air has 15 hours left on 92%. My Air is 3 years old now so it has deteriorated a little, max life I see now is around 16 hours, normally plenty to last a whole weekend at work without charging. Odie says Macs Rule.3 points

Mine has just under 80,000 miles on the dials.....1 sill has a rust hole in it (but passed the MOT) but the remainder of the bodywork is in good order, drivers seat is worse for wear, but I think it has another 5 years in it...2 points
